The crossover is 4655 mm long (18 mm longer than the original Captiva) has a salon for five or seven seats, a 1.5 petrol turbo engine (147 hp) and only front-wheel drive... The choice, like the "five hundred and thirty", is declared mechanical box gears and a six-speed "robot" with two clutches. And the equipment includes a media system, a rear-view camera, electric front seats and a panoramic roof.
In the Colombian market, the second-generation Chinese-made Chevrolet Captiva will appear in 2019. The General Motors concern has not yet talked about the further prospects of the model, but it is possible that this South American country will not be the only market for the newly-minted SUV.
By the way, this is not the first experience of selling Chinese cars under by Chevrolet... From 2013 to 2017, inexpensive compact vans Wuling Hongguang were delivered to India as the Chevrolet Enjoy. This year, the R4 sedan will hit the market and be updated. There is no doubt that this is the Chevrolet Cobalt. In 2015, the car was transformed, it has changed a lot in terms of appearance, interior. But don't expect a change power units... It may well happen that the updated Ravon R4 will appear on the market very soon. But the crossover and sedan will have to wait, motorists shouldn't expect them to appear anytime soon.
