Remove the tube with a vacuum control signal from the EGR valve and check as the valve diaphragm smoothly closes in accordance with the increase in engine speed. Install the tube with a vacuum signal back to the valve. Make sure that the diaphragm smoothly rose in accordance with the reduction of engine speed.
4. If the diaphragm does not move, make sure that the vacuum reaches the EGR valve: on the engine running at 2000 - 2500 rpm. Remove the tube with a vacuum control signal from the EGR valve and plug it with a finger. If you feel the airproof, replace the EGR valve. If there is no vacuum on the tube, carefully inspect the entire vacuum line for cracks, breaks and blockages. Also, if there is a TVV valve and delay valve, check their performance.
