Hello everyone,

Last week in the frost, I did not start the car. When warmed, I put a new battery and tried again, but it did not come out. At first, there were attempts - something settled, but never started, and then it stopped to grab. Yesterday they pulled the car to the service. There the masters looked everything. I measured compression in the cylinders - it turned out that it was not. Thought on the timing belt. Removed the lid - the belt is a whole. Then they found out that the oil is below the mark (here I apparently worked), but it seems like a light bulb on the panel did not burn. They said that rings were stuck. Poured the engine on top of the oil, waited. As long as they waited, they said that the only option is now to buy kerosene and pour them rings, then they are smaller and if you are lucky, then you don't even have to do kapitalk. And most likely - disassemble the engine, change everything, etc. But this is usually done, but it's easier to buy a new engine, because the bulbing the engine will cost 40 thousand, and the new one - somewhere in 20. I was upset, they again measured compression, it appeared. What did you cook? They began to twist, and it seems like the engine began to sneeze, and after 20 seconds, it was started. Worked stable, one can say - as usual. I must say that I do not know much in the detailed engine operation, but it seemed that it was all because of the oil. With further an attempt to figure out something from the masters, it seemed that they were also not particularly in the subject. Then I was told that the engine is already old, and since you traveled to it without oil, it's already accurately sought it. Either oil is constantly pouring. I say that he did not smoke, everything was fine, well, now see - probably will. Rings were stuck and all that. I asked what smoke was when smoke blue? The masters said yes.

Further, I settled, got into the car, began to start - and she again did not start. A satisfied master said that this is what was needed to prove. " All as before, no reaction. Began to continue to understand. I say I say that can the compression to measure? They measured everything is fine. That is, everything is in order with the rings, what's the point? Shrugged. How did she work 5 minutes ago? What then required to prove that? I don't do anything anymore, twisted 15 seconds - and she again started up, then they asked not to join it until the evening - alleged rings there are back and the oil will not fall into the cylinders. The distant attempt to obtain an explanation gave little benefit, purely logically, is not a compression, even with her there was a problem. At the expense of the fact that smoke is not blue, and gray (in the sense of the usual), I was told that it smells of oil.

It seems to me that the masters are not very well versed, please give your assessment of the problem. It seems to me that the problem is ignited.

And can I generally say that the car did not start from the fact that little oil?

P.S. Last night I jerked a lot of times and started. Everything was fine. Today she started as usual, but I'm afraid to the next frost. And smoke, by the way, not blue.
