Earlier, I wrote that for tricks, it is desirable to apply a bright soil. Unfortunately, this tactic came out sideways, for from under the red layer of enamel, a white base was visible on the seams. It was necessary to apply two layers of red paint, which is not always good, as with each excess layer, we gradually lose the detail by car, and besides, more likely to choose dust calfs on the gloss. Although, all these transluents are possible due to the paint used, since rejected and painted the model, car aerosols in the cans. I would have had to primitive brick primer, then there would be enough one layer of red enamel.

Painted the cabin and tank with red enamel Kudo, overall everything turned out quite wonderful. The color details are somewhat raspberry (photo below), but these are shoals of lighting or a mobile phone, which had to shoot at that moment.

From the wheels, slowly begin to assemble the firm model. By the way, this raspberry color, here is already more like red :-)

After drying, we wear tires on discs. If the paint has not yet been completely dried, but it does not wait to collect, so as not to fit it with a rather rusting rubber bus. You need to heat these tires in boiling water from under the tap or kettle, after which the rubber becomes somewhat softer, which allows you to pull them on the discs without any problems. As a result, we get such fierce wheels for the fire truck.

We prepare the cabin and tank to apply white lines. We put everything with painting scotch and thereby form the contours of future lines on the tank and cabin. Here, by the way, it is possible to dance from the opposite. That is, first paint the car with white, stick the scotch strips, then cover the red enamel, to remove the tape, while exposing the white stripes.

We carry out the frame with bridges, wheels, cardanes, and other elements of the chassis. By the way, on the lower pictures it can be seen that the spare wheel is already glued to the frame of the car. But at this stage, this should not be done, since later this wheel will interfere with the screws to the frame to be screwed to the frame.

Gently remove the painter tape, trying to do not pull the white paint behind him. Where possible, I tried to pull the tape from white bands almost parallel to the plane of the machine. Since it is to pull it perpendicular to the plane, then in some places the white paint began to soak a stockfall. The pictures below it is clear that the white edge turned out not perfect, but with burrs at the edges. It may have been necessary to apply a layer as thinner as possible, but something did not want to admire the translucent lines, as on some coffee models.

There was no time to put experiments, but I think it is necessary to remove the scotch while the paint is still raw, then there is a chance that the edges are collapsed. But this method is good for Enamel, for it will dry for a long time and allows you to mess around longer with the model. But enamel has one small minus, it can raise (Danger) the main color of the model. The acrylic has another problem, it will quickly dry, so all these lines may need to be painted with acrylic separately in order to get rid of the tape before the paint drying.

After installing the cab and tanks into place, we glue the model with ladents, sleeves and other incomprehensible smallers :-)

The ATS-4.0-131 tank truck is made on the chassis of the car ZIL-131.
