In 2016, the German company Audi presented to the public in Ingolstadt its new charged crossover Audi SQ7, created on the basis of a conventional one. The model is going to compete with other German crossovers, already now it claims to be the most powerful diesel car.
Exterior
The exterior is simple enough to not stand out on the road. Special differences there is no "civilian" version. From the front, it can be distinguished by paying attention to the air intakes, they are slightly different.
On the side, the car is given out only by sports rear-view mirrors, painted in silver. Also, the side section will receive a large chrome molding underneath. Other discs are installed here: 20s in stock, 21 and 22 - an option.
The rear is also not much different, the only thing that can give it away is the bumper. The bumper has 4 exhaust pipes, a small chrome diffuser. Everything else hasn't changed in any way, but that doesn't change the fact that the car looks great.

Interior
The salon has changed more seriously, there is an extensive use of carbon inserts, on the dashboard, the tunnel. Installed more sports seats, with impressive lateral support, a different design. Electrical controls, memory, ventilation and heating, of course, remained. The rear row differs only in the design of the seat upholstery, otherwise everything is the same. There are also two more at the back. seats, in total there are 7.
The pilot will receive a different, more sporty three-spoke steering wheel, equipped with buttons, leather upholstery, SQ7 nameplate, beveled bottom. The dashboard is a 12-inch Head-Up display displaying just about anything. It is optional.
The dashboard of the Audi SQ7 has a display on the top of the MIMI navigation plus multimedia system, which looks like a non-standard tablet. It is controlled by a puck in the tunnels. The center console received only a separate climate control control unit, which has a display, washers and buttons.
A very wide tunnel separating the front passenger from the driver received a niche for little things, cup holders, a touchpad, a gear selector, an electronic button parking brake and a washer for controlling the multimedia system.
The trunk is the same here, if all the seats are unfolded, then luggage compartment will have a volume of 235 liters, without the back row 805 liters, and with all the seats folded down 1990 liters. The back row has its own separate climate control, large 2 displays of the multimedia system.

Now let's move on to the most interesting thing, this is the engine and suspension of this crossover. A new 4-liter TDI diesel engine is installed here. It is a partially hybrid motor with a small battery under the trunk. The motor received two turbines and an electric supercharger.
The motor outputs 435 Horse power and 900 H * m of torque. Maximum power is available at 3750 engine rpm, maximum torque at approximately the same rpm. This is a V8 having direct injection fuel.
By the way, the same motor is in the lineup.
The unit works in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission Audi SQ7 S-Tronic transmission, transmitting torque to all wheels, quattro system with Torsen differential. A crossover weighing 2270 kilograms accelerates to a hundred in 4.8 seconds, maximum speed electronically limited to 250 km / h.
The manufacturer claims that with a quiet ride, the engine will consume only 8 liters of diesel fuel, 6 liters on the highway. Hard to believe. The torque is distributed in a 40:60 ratio.
The car is built on the MLB platform, which is a fully controlled Driving Dynamic system with a two-link and multi-link system. This is an air suspension with variable stiffness, roll suppression when cornering. This full steering suspension is an option similar to the one present.
The car has excellent brake system with a large number of electronic assistants and ventilation.

In the line of Q-models of the German auto giant there were no "charged" cars, and therefore the announcement compact crossover Audi RS Q3, which took place in the spring of 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, provoked close attention from the entire world auto community. The number of stylish aluminum inserts has significantly increased, pedals have acquired a sporty look, checkered stitching has appeared on the seats, and the steering wheel has got a slightly adjusted grip and a lower sports bar.
The luggage compartment of the "charged" and "normal" models has no fundamental differences.
Specifications. The main difference between the RSQ3 and the civilian progenitor is hidden under the hood of the novelty, where the developers were able to fit a gasoline turbo unit with five cylinders with a total volume of 2.5 liters. The engine is known for the "TT RS" model, but there it is slightly more powerful due to a different turbocharging system. On the Audi RS Q3, this engine initially produced about 310 hp. power, and also produced about 420 Nm of torque.
For a compact SUV, these figures are very good and allow, for example, to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.5 seconds. The upper speed limit is expected to be electronically locked at 250 km / h.
With its impressive dynamic capabilities, the 310-horsepower engine makes good use of the available gasoline in the tank - according to the manufacturer average consumption fuel in the Audi RS Q3 will be about 8.8 liters per 100 kilometers.

The suspension here is completely sporty and absolutely does not resemble the civilian version. The clearance of the "charged" crossover was further reduced by 25 mm, and the standard electromechanical amplifier was replaced with a special one. sports version with more dynamic characteristics.
Among the other "delights" we highlight the presence of the "Start-Stop" system with the function of braking energy recuperation, the uphill assistance system and the "Audi drive select" system, which allows you to quickly adjust the car to the desired type of driving.
Prices and equipment. The cost of the Audi RS Q3 in 2016 at Russian market starts at 3,685,000 rubles. Already in the "state" the car is endowed with six airbags, LED optics "in a circle", light and rain sensors, 18-inch wheel disks, a combined interior design, sports front heated seats, a dual-zone "climate", a multimedia system and "music" with ten speakers. In addition to this, the crossover boasts ABS with EBD, ESP, Brake Assist, parking assist with front and rear sensors, hill start assist functions, anti-spontaneous movement technology and other relevant equipment.

My neighbor, Leokadia, planted flowers under her window (which, with her illness, was very difficult to deal with) and could see me perfectly. Probably, she didn’t really like my condition at that time (which was always written on my face, no matter how good or bad it was), because she went to the fence and asked if I wanted to have breakfast with her with her pies?
I agreed with pleasure - her presence was always very pleasant and soothing, just as her pies were always tasty. And I also really wanted to talk to someone about something that had oppressed me for several days, but for some reason I didn't want to share it at home at that moment. In movies that show the future, you can find fantastic cars... And this applies not only to their characteristics: the ability to fly or use a nuclear reactor instead of a motor. They are also fantastic because they are often made completely from scratch and do not have continuity with possible past models. This is done in order to create an unimaginable entourage of a futuristic film.
However, familiar brands can also be found in pictures about the future. It is more believable in such an alignment: it is difficult to imagine that in 20-30 years the world's leading concerns will suddenly cease their activities, it is also inconceivable that new brands compete with the "old-timers" who have experience and technical base more powerful. So the film "I, a Robot" decided to show though the future, but quite expected.
The action of the film "I, Robot" takes place in 2035, at which time other cars should drive on the roads. Which? The filmmakers turned for a response and a specific design proposal to the Audi concern, or rather its Audi Design division. A contract was signed between the producers and the auto concern, according to which for the first time German car was created specifically for the cinema, in pursuit of advertising purposes.
The designers needed to make a car with recognizable brand features, while giving it futuristic elements. German craftsmen quickly found a solution. (And they had no choice, since they had to create a full-fledged car in just 10 weeks). The Audi RSQ was presented on time.
The designers took the already existing Le Mans Quattro model as the basis for the body. A more powerful grille and hood were added to it, the features were made more optic. The matter remained with the attributes of the machines of the future. Perhaps the main innovation was the spherical wheels. According to the Audi developers, such a chassis is quite likely in the future, but in practice it is not feasible in our time. Spherical wheels are designed to simplify changing the direction of movement, because they can rotate in completely different directions. It is very difficult to overturn an object on spherical wheels. They are not yet used in cars, but they cannot be replaced in the production of armchairs and sofas. Further, for the Audi RSQ, butterfly wings were designed, they opened up and back. The salon is made on the principle of an aircraft cockpit: instead of a steering wheel in the Audi RSQ, there is a steering wheel, and dashboard duplicated by numbers on windshield... Here is the autopilot, which is designed to make the movement safe. The machine was constructed from durable fiberglass panels. The only pity is that the Audi RSQ had to be broken in the movie.
However, the developments remained, and Audi company successfully conducted an advertising campaign for the concept of the future. Posters were hung with the image of RSQ and the slogan "The future is today". The model in all seriousness was supposed to be launched in mass production by replacing the spherical wheels with a standard chassis and an expensive control panel with a conventional one.
