And then many people think whether it is worth buying a Renault Logan or Megan, VAZ 2114, Hyundai Solaris, Renault Duster, Kia Rio or any other car for a similar solution. Not everyone understands whether they will be useful, and how the washer behavior will change after changing the nozzles.
But let's be frank. There are fans on cars Toyota, Nissan, Volvo and many other modern foreign cars from the factory. Therefore, there are objective reasons for this. They are obviously better than conventional spray guns. But even if you have Priora, Kalina or Chevrolet Niva, no one will forbid changing the nozzles. In addition, there is no need to make other serious modifications to the wiper system.

There are two main points to the negative side of fan nozzles.
First, because of design features such devices often freeze at low temperatures. Therefore, residents of regions with harsh winters are better off choosing nozzles with a heating system right away.
Secondly, due to the processing of a large area of the windshield, sometimes the driver loses control over what is happening in front. That is, the liquid covers the entire glass. Until the brush passes over it, the visibility is reduced.
The disadvantages are conditional, but they are worth paying attention to.
When a driver decides to buy something for a car, the following problem arises. How is it better to choose and not be mistaken with the decision. This can be attributed to both fan-shaped nozzles and ... But if you read our material, you will not make mistakes.
There are two main approaches to selection:
- buy original;
- take universal.
But not all cars can be equipped with or purchased original injectors. Therefore, you have to look for an alternative solution. There are no fans that fit literally all cars. Be sure to take this into account, otherwise no adjustment will help you.

Installation
If you had jet nozzles on your car, then you will need to take:
- set of fans;
- check valve;
- hoses;
- tee.
A check valve is needed to create a stable pressure in the system and to protect against the washer from flowing back into the tank after the pump is turned off. Due to the valve, after turning on the washer, liquid immediately begins to flow through the fan nozzles onto the glass.
Only one valve is used. It is mounted in front of the tee. If you put a valve in front of each of the nozzles, you simply reduce the pressure with your own hands, which will reduce the flow of the jet.
Do not discard old inkjet devices after installation. You can put them inside a separate pocket in ... It is possible that it will come in handy sometime. Or you may not like how the fan system works.
The sequential installation looks like this:
- the hood is understood and the trim is removed;
- the supply pipes are dismantled from the old nozzles;
- old sprayers are removed (the clamps are unclenched, the nozzles are pushed up);
- a non-return valve is connected (on some cars it is already there, so you will not have to install it);
- new fans are being mounted;
- supply hoses are connected to the nozzles.
That's it, the work is complete. You don't need to have any special skills. If you've done the installation or by changing the oil, then there will be no problems with this task.

Rules for choosing rolling windshield washer nozzles
The best option is to buy original jets that are suitable for a specific vehicle. A large number of companies are engaged in the production of such products, so choosing a jet for a specific model and brand is not difficult.
If original part could not be found, an alternative is available - universal fan nozzles. Their peculiarity lies in the possibility of mounting on a whole group of brands and models. Vehicle... In extreme cases, minor design improvements may be required.
Alternatively, purchase jets from the manufacturers Volvo or Ssang Yong (catalog numbers - 30655605 and 7845009010). If you choose between the two types, the Korean brand details can boast more versatility. Their advantages are low cost and the ability to install on a whole group of cars - Mazda, Toyota, Daewoo and others.
How to choose a check valve?
The factory design of the washer device often does not include a check valve. The task of the mechanism is to protect against dripping working fluid back to the washer reservoir when the pump is de-energized. At the same time, the valve ensures continuous cleaning of the windshield. Structurally, it is an ordinary ball with a spring that blocks the outlet from the nozzle in the absence of pressure.

It is allowed to use fan nozzles without installing a valve. But in this case, an alternative solution is required - a delay in the movement of the wipers in relation to the fluid supply. It can be organized in two ways - using an electrical circuit or mechanical devices... Thanks to this alteration, the washing composition travels the distance from the container with liquid to the nozzles until the wipers start working.
The following types of valves can be used:
- Check valves for VAZ-2108 or 2109.
- Foreign production (for Volvo or Toyota).
- A ready-made tee with a valve from Mitsubishi.
- Check valve from the aquarium compressor. The advantages are reliability and efficiency.
The device is on sale in a pet store. Here you can also purchase a piece of silicone tubing to create the nipples. Such a product can withstand elevated temperatures and has a large resource (even in comparison with factory tubes installed on VAZ).
How to install fan nozzles?
Contrary to popular belief, installing fan-shaped windshield nozzles is straightforward. The algorithm of actions is as follows:
- Remove the upholstery (insulation) mounted on the bonnet (if any). Be careful not to break fragile plastic caps. Pull them out with a special tool or with a pair of screwdrivers.
- Remove the foam pads that are held on the double-sided tape (you will need a new piece during installation).
- Discard overlays on plastic items.
- Remove the tubes that supply fluid to the factory jets.
- Dismantle old devices. They can be held to the frame or hood using plastic mountings or nuts.
- Install fan nozzles (without fasteners) and lead the branch pipes to them.
- Connect the check valves to the pipelines and nozzles, and then fix them.
- Make sure that the device is working properly and that the spray of droplets falls on the windshield. Secure the jets.

Please note that fan-shaped windshield washer nozzles for VAZ cars or other cars often require adjustment after installation, but they do not have a tilt angle (it seems that there are now adjustable nozzles, who knows, write in the comments).
To change the angle of inclination, height or direction, it is worth adjusting the base of the jets by using a notch, trimming or building up the base. This may require special plastic or rubber gaskets. It is important that, as a result of the adjustment, the liquid covers the glass and does not go beyond its boundaries.
How often a car enthusiast cannot even go on a trip in his car, if suddenly the washing of the driver's view stops working. And it would be okay to run out of liquid, or the channels are simply clogged. Worse, when the "sprinklers" themselves are out of order.

How to fix watering on a VAZ
Suppose a breakdown occurred on a VAZ car. Let's talk first about the "tenth" family. To replace the washer nozzles at the VAZ 2110, the following tools will come in handy:
- wrenches;
- screwdrivers.
Begin.
- First of all, we dismantle the air intake grill.
- Further, by unscrewing the fasteners, remove the decorative overlay.
- Having unscrewed the screws securing the defective elements, we dismantle the latter.
- We take out the ends of the tubes from the dismantled elements.
- We install new parts and assemble them in reverse order.
If the sprayers have broken down on the "twelfth" model, then we replace the defective windshield washers at the VAZ 2112 using exactly the same technology.
However, it happens that the pump of the washer fluid spray system has broken down (due to the fact that, say, a system filled with water was turned on in sub-zero weather). Then, to replace the "dead" windshield washer motor, you will have to remove the battery, remove the system reservoir, disconnect the wires and reinstall the unit. 
Now let's talk about the Samara family. To replace the nozzles from the VAZ 2114, we will take some tool, namely pliers.
Everything is much simpler here. Let's get started.
- Opening the hood, we find our broken parts.
- We pull out hoses from them.
- Gently squeezing the clamps from below with pliers, we pull out the defective nodes.
- Install the new ones in the reverse order.
And here is how Kalina's replacement goes. Only a screwdriver is taken from the tool. Start by opening the hood.
- Pull out the bonnet trim clips using the tool.
- Remove the trim.
- Remove the tubes from the broken jets.
- Take out the faulty elements and install new ones. Then everything is going on the way back.
Now for the Priora. To replace the washer nozzles from Priora, we take the following accessories:
- flat screwdriver;
- a piece of cloth.
Here's what we do.
- Having placed a quadruple piece of fabric, we pry the defective element with the tool and pull it out of the hood hole.
- We remove the branch pipe from it.
- Install the new part in reverse order.
However, the picture will be more detailed if we turn to popular foreign cars.
What to do with foreign cars
To replace the windshield nozzles at Renault Logan, we need pliers.
We act like this.
- Opening the hood, we find the defective element.
- We remove the flexible tube from it.
- Gently squeeze the clamps with pliers and pull the spray arm out.
- The installation of a new spare part is done in the reverse order.
As you can see, for this car it is very easy to carry out the whole process with your own hands.
The situation is somewhat different with the Korean foreign car. To replace the glass washer nozzle at the Kia Sid, you must use - a flat screwdriver. What are we doing.
- Gently insert the tip of the tool from the side of the front seats of the car under the jet. Then we press the latch.
- We take out the broken part to ourselves.
- Disconnect the flexible tube from the dismantled element.
- We install the new sprayer, moving backwards point by point.
Here we will mention that the replacement at Solaris is carried out in almost the same way. Only with a screwdriver you need to act a little differently. More precisely, you need to take two screwdrivers. Pry one of the nozzles from the side of the window, and the second from the side of the inside of the hood. 
But when changing the windshield washer nozzles for a Chevrolet Trailblazer, we act one to one as in the instructions just given.
It is much more difficult to replace the glass washer nozzles with the Opel Astra. In this car, in order to get to the broken sprayers, you must first unfasten the wiper leashes by removing the caps and unscrewing the nuts. And then you still need to dismantle the plastic panel on which the replaceable fittings are fixed. Pulling them out of the panel is no longer difficult.
The cost of such a simple operation is not high
It is easy to assume that the cost of performing such a simple operation in a car service is just as low. And if someone is afraid of breaking something, he can safely go to a service station.

The standard design of the washer may not have a check valve, which is designed to prevent fluid from flowing from the hoses back to the tank when the suction pump is turned off. A non-standard but acceptable solution is the use of a non-return valve used in an aquarium air compressor. It usually stands in the outlet pipe of the compressor and has high reliability and efficiency. In addition to it, in the pet store you can also purchase a flexible silicone tube for the manufacture of nozzles for the check valve and nozzles, which are used to supply air to the aquarium. In terms of adaptability to temperature changes and service life, this tube is much superior to the standard hoses used in Zhiguli.

The installation procedure for fan injectors provides for the following work:
- removing the upholstery on the hood, if installed, with a neat, breakage-free recess of the plastic caps using special tools or two flat screwdrivers;
- dismantling the buffer foam rubber pads attached to double-sided tape (new tape will be required for their reassembly) and detaching the cover on the plastic parts;
- disconnecting the pipes supplying liquid from the standard nozzles;
- dismantling of old injectors, which can be attached to the hood or frame using plastic clips or fastening nuts;

- connection of non-return valves to the washer fluid pipelines and injector nozzles, their reliable fastening;
- checking the system performance and adjusting the direction of the liquid fan to the windshield;

When installing and adjusting the nozzles, it may be necessary to correct the holes, adjust the nozzles in size, direction, height and inclination of the position. To do this, you need to trim, file or, conversely, build up the base of the nozzles using tools and rubber or plastic gaskets. As a result, it is necessary to ensure that the area of liquid splashing on the glass surface is maximal, but does not go beyond its limits.
