Participants of our test are all with such marking: these are 14 sets with spikes and nine - without.

The test program is standard, all the routes of the White Hell polygon near the Finnish town of Ivalo are familiar to us - and most importantly, to be lucky with the weather. It was almost lucky: snowfall was not, although the temperature danced from 5 to 23 degrees of frost, so that its influence had to be taken into account by conducting additional races on the "reference" tires. But measurements of the longitudinal dynamics took place in a closed hangar with a more stable temperature.

Here, there was a confusion with Nokian tires, and with a model that is not produced by the first year. And in acceleration, and in braking, Nokian HakkaPeliitta R2 SUV lost not only to fundamental competitors, but even the tires of their own "second line" - Tires Nordman RS2 SUV! Working in the neighboring testes of the company Nokian broke up, they themselves repeated measurements ... A service investigation has shown that the failed tires were released at the factory near St. Petersburg at the end of 2016, more precisely on the 48th week. Then there was a failure in the technological cycle. For details with us, we did not become (apparently, there were deviations either in duration, or in the vulcanization temperature), but they assured that the defective party did not go on sale. After measurements in the hangar, we are chosen on the fastening frost - and once again let's notify that as the temperature drops, the friction tires begin to catch up and even overtake "rose". Starting with this Hankook model, all tires in our test have weaknesses at least in several test criteria. Showing a good grip on dry asphalt and ice, they received several penalty points while working on snow and wet road.

The same weaknesses as the previous dough participant showed the Vredestein tire model. They also received several penal scores for the wet asphalt and loose snow. In addition, they gave way and wear resistance.

Yokohama's "Golden Star" tires lost due to low clutch indicators on a wet road and a serious degree of wear that allow the models to take the average eighth place in the ranking.

The flaws in the speech of the Falken model were observed in almost all disciplines when passing over ice, wet and dry asphalt, loose snow and dirt.

Firestone's tire rating did not save even decent ride indicators on the icing surface, dry asphalt and snow, as they showed noticeably more low level on the wet asphalt.

A similar problem with the clutch on the wet road surface was observed at the rubber production of Nokian, they were very far behind the test leaders.

The estimates are "good" for the test of winter tires R15 MODEL MICHELIN. Points were removed for high fuel consumption and rather weak clutch on ice and snow.

Only a satisfactory level of work on wet asphalt and snow demonstrated AEOLUS tires, and high wear did not leave them a chance to rise above the modest twelfth place.

Kumho tires failed to drive the snow and wet road. The remaining indicators also had flaws.

The work of Sava tires in the snow is better than in the previous case, which you will not say about driving on wet and dry road surface.
