The analysis of the production activities of STAA showed the preference of such a direction of development, including for the station, which were originally designed with a limited range of work. This is due to the present level of motorization of most cities and districts of the country and the development of the network of STA. Specialization of STA, due to a high level of concentration of work, without proper technical and economic justification only complicates their maintenance owners and negatively affects the Sta economy, although the idea of \u200b\u200bspecialization and cooperation of the activities of the stations is progressive.

Currently, the orientation of the cost of one or another types of work is determined mainly by its production capabilities, i.e., the presence of relevant areas, sites, equipment, etc.

With an increase in the passenger car park and the further development of the STA network will be distributed by specialized stations of integrated service, i.e. Stao, performing the repair of a certain car brand, as well as STA, specialized by type of work, for example, on diagnosing (Fig. 2.4), Sink, repair of electrical equipment and appliances, brakes, units, on coloring bodyworks, etc. These and other works can be performed in different combinations with each other with partial specialization. Such a prospect is confirmed by existing practices in large cities, such as Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev, where the level of saturation by cars is significantly higher than the national country, and calculations of hyproautotrans, NIIATA and other organizations, as well as foreign experiences.

The grounds for the specialization of STAO on car brands or types of work are the presence of a sufficient number of labor influences in the service area, providing full loading of the station and the effective use of high-performance equipment, the possibility of applying progressive technology and a rational organization of production.

A certain number of car owners prefer to carry out both trial. However, the existing conditions do not always allow this, since self-service posts are available on some domestic STA. Meanwhile, abroad was distributed not only posts, but also self-service stations. In the future, in our country there is a further development of self-service, including by organizing specialized stations.

The main difficulties in solving this issue are the organization of appropriate quality control and safety monitoring. Due to the permanent improvement in the design of the car, its service requires a qualified approach, the use of complex modern equipment with high accuracy, as well as the relevant technology. Loss of quality at the same repair in most cases leads to road traffic accidents and environmental pollution.

Road costs (Fig. 2.5) are designed to provide technical assistance to all vehicles on my way. Usually they are small and consist of several work posts, universal by types and brands of served vehicles, but are limited in the list of services provided by them.
