Sport Styling: Painting brake calipers in garage conditions. How to remove and paint brake calipers painting brake discs

Hello everyone!

Wheel discs were pushing - part of the paint was shuffled, the places were swept. It is understandable, the car is 14 years old. It's time to repaint. Since the powder painting is expensive to me (about 10,000 rubles), I decided to repaint my own. Disks in a deplorable state, not even sfotkal, rather wanted to put them in order.

Preparation for painting

This is the most time-consuming and time spent process, but it directly depends on the quality of painting (the photos will be visible to painting on the lack of disabilities). On the Internet, people write that they leave 1.5 hours to 8 hours to grind one disk. I got about 4.5 hours per disc, I cleaned a couple of days. On the removal / installation, degreasing and the ripping of all four wheels must be laid 1.5 hours.

Sequencing:

  1. Large and small fanish nozzle with grain P80 rushing the disk on both sides. Around the rim used the mapping brush / Cordschka (she was, did not buy it), because The fan nozzle did not take, and manually for a long time. But she is very rude and leaves deep scratchesSo careful. The petal circle P120 did not use, because It is soft, and the grinding is more easier to do with hand, because Uniformly all surfaces by the nozzle do not pass.
  2. After sprinkling by hand, Okaril is in turn of the eye from P80 to P1000. Shucil without fanaticism - for 7-10 minutes per disc on one grain. After P1000, the difference on the face is a smooth and pleasant disk.
  3. My disc with water and brush.
  4. Degrease the White Spirit (he was also). For which the pulverizer is screwed up on a jar, spray and wipe the rag.
  5. We stick to the rubber from getting paints, for which we expand the decks of cards (read out and also internet). And the truth is very convenient - maps dense and flexible. R17 leaves 4.5 decks 36 cards. I took 4 pcs. And I was not enough. Then we glue everything with painting scotch. Do not regret it, because Fog will stand and I still painted a bit of rubber.

The whole process is tedious and requires tremendous patience, from Okurizing the fingers sick a couple of days.

Painting

Very responsible stage. If there is an accumulation, then it will be necessary to re-prepare the surface. In addition, this is a finishing stage, which is already difficult to fix.

The choice of paint immediately fell on Motip (Germany). It's very much written about her on the Internet - it goes well, you can not primitive, it serves a long time, a pleasant color. Therefore, the entire Motip line was purchased - soil, paint for brake discs and varnish. The closest color to the original was silver, and took it.

Sequencing:

  1. Primer. We put discs on the cardboard and cut the ground from a distance of 20-25 cm. One canister was enough for 2 layers of the outer part of the disc and 1 layer inside the disk. For two layers, it completely overlaps the color of the disk and delays small scratches. Pause did not do while painting all four disks, the first breathes.
  2. Painting. We will wait 10 minutes for complete soil drying and start painting. Putting the strata persistent so that the paint does not flow. I put 4 layers of paint, I think this is more than enough. Sorry - the color is pleasant.
  3. Varnish. We will wait 30 minutes to completely dry the paint and lachm. The process is identical, all along the old scheme - painted all the discs, turned, painted the second sides. Two cans were enough for 3 layers of the outer part of the disk and 2 layers inside the disk.

The whole process took about 2.5 hours. Grooved ground - 1 pc., Paint - 2.5 pcs, varnish - 2 pcs. I am very pleased not to save on paint and took Motip, and not domestic. The soil, paint and varnish, lay very smoothly, without drills and bubbles, spraying a uniform round spot. Excellent coverage. The only one noticed that when the can of the balloon ends, when pressed, there may be pleuts with small droplets, but after, anyway, there is a uniform spraying.

Plug

The plugs are also spent, this third set. Because New set of plugs (4 pcs.) costs from 2000 rubles. I decided to reanimate the established, the more newly the original original plugs will not fall into the color of the painted wheels.

For the black emblem, I decided to save and take the black matte paint Kudo (Russia) for 140 rubles, because Little painting area.

Sequencing:

  1. We clean, degrease, soil and painted similarly to the discs, just not cover with varnish.
  2. We take self-keeper, print on it the emblem, we stick to the plug and cut the stationery knife along the contour. First cut, and after sticking it will not work, so carefully cut out on the spot and remove the part you need to paint.
  3. Painting. We shake the canola and start painting. Black paint cheaper, and on the first (thick) layer, she began to bubble, carefully removed them and the following layers overlapped. Spraying at Kudo - a strip, unlike the circle at Motip. But in general, there were no problems with painting. Put 4 layers - one thick for the overlap of silver and three thin.
  4. Lachy in five thin layers with remnants of Motip varnish.

It turned out very well. Already at a distance elongated hands Not visible out of contour.

Estimation:

vendor code Name Number of Price per pc.
1 04054 Gray Gray 0.5l Motip 1 PC. 316 rub.
2 04007 Disk Paint Silver 500ml Motip 4 things. 293 rub.

The advantages of heat-resistant paint, types of enamels used for painting calipers. Color manufacturers for calipers and their products.

This article is intended for persons over 18 years

Have you already turned 18?

A good way to protect car parts from harmful effects is the heat-resistant paint for calipers. Most car owners paint calipers not to protect, but to give individuality to their car. Each car owner wants his car to be not just attractive. It will not refuse to add to the appearance means of movement notching originality. It is possible to achieve this different ways. Some are applied with airbrushing, others focus on cast discs. You can reap the body with a variety of collaps. But the easiest and most spectacular way to transform the car is to paint calipers.

A good way to protect the parts of the car from harmful effects is the heat-resistant paint for calipers.

The advantages of heat-resistant paint

There is a very rich choice of colors on the market, so everyone can choose a shade to their taste. Paint for calipers is applied based on many reasons:

  • ease of application (even a novice motorist can cope with this task);
  • high quality (in the manufacture of paints only high-quality materials apply, so that it falls to a smooth layer and leaves the divorces);
  • the wide color palette of both matte and glossy;
  • excellent protective properties (protects calipers from corrosion, harmful effects of reagents and rust);
  • reduces thermal conductivity (painted parts less heat, which contributes to more long time Services).

No matter how we praise the beneficial properties of heat-resistant paints, they are designed primarily for aesthetic pleasure. Everyone wants to highlight your car. A variety of colors allows you to satisfy the most courageous ideas of decorating your iron friend. You can pick up paint for calipers as well brake discs In the tone of the car, and it is possible, on the contrary, paint them into an absolutely different color, thereby adding a highlight. Particularly spectacularly colored calipers look against the background of chrome disks.

For painting details, only heat-resistant paint is needed. Since the parts during operation of the car are heated greatly, then the usual paint cracks and gets drunk in just a few months. In this case, you will have to repeat the process again.

Calipers have a porous structure, susceptible to the cluster of dirt, so it is difficult to clean and washing. The heat-resistant paint creates a glossy film on the surface of the parts, thanks to which the dirt no longer penetrates into the pores. It helps support calipers and brake discs clean.

Another positive point is the possibility of independent staining. For this you do not need to have special skills. A certain plus is also the fact that you can not dismantle the details. It is essentially saves time and facilitates the process. To paint brake calipers, you just need to remove the wheel, clean carefully, if necessary, polish and degrease the surface. Depending on the type of acquired machine - paint the surface with a brush or canister.

When using paint in the canopy should be worried about the careful protection of non-painted surfaces. Each car owner who decided to paint on its own, you need to know the materials that will be needed for self-painting:

  • malar tape or means to help protect the non-painted parts from paint (newspapers, film);

Painting ribbon.

  • white spirit - for degreasing the surface;
  • paint;
  • sandpaper for polishing and stripping calipers;
  • nonwoven rag, which will need to polish the aggregates after mechanical cleaning.

In addition to the above, the painting of the calipers is a good opportunity to check the integrity and, if necessary, carry out the lubricant of the gunner and its guides. Hidden in anthers, they are difficult to access it, so you have to sweat to get to these parts. Collect the wheelchair is permitted after the primary collapse of the paint occurs. In order to dry out completely, the day will be needed. This time, the means of movement is recommended not to use or apply gentle mode for several days.

Types of paints used for calipers

Paint for calipers and brake discs is powder and acrylic. It all depends on the components included in its composition. Each of them has its own advantages and features.

In the manufacture of acrylic paint, organic solvents and acrylic resins are used. This composition gives the paint a gloss, having properties to continue to preserve on the surface without losing its appeal.

Acrylic paint for caliper

The structure of the powder dye perfectly proven itself on constantly heating and rotating items, which makes it very practical for painting calipers. Most of the manufacturers of paints and varnishes prefer the release of powder materials.

When processing brake discs, machinery exercise exclusively heat-resistant dyes. Otherwise, the paint will simply burn and tears. Modern manufacturers produce such types of heat-resistant substances for calipers:

  • spray can;
  • bank;
  • set.

Aerosol is paint in the canister. Perhaps the most convenient of all on the market. Even a novice car service will not have difficulty with its use. The use of the canopy greatly simplifies the process and takes a minimum of time.

It also captivates its price. But be careful, this opinion is mistaken. Aerosol paint ends very quickly. As experience shows to paint four brake discs, you will need four cans with paint, and this is not so cheap, as it seemed at first glance. Another disadvantage is the need to carefully protect the parts of the machine that you do not need to be painted.

brand-Detail-img-title "\u003e Aerosol is paint in the can

Kits are most profitable and convenient for use. By purchasing everything at once, there is no need to buy or search for related products. Paint for brake calipers in the set is very durable. Using this dye once, you will forget about the need to repetition a process at least five years. You can not worry that the paint will end. The set is enough of the calculation of the painting of all four calipers. The set is equipped with cleansing liquid, hardener, primer, brushes, rigid brushes, gloves and directly by the coloring agent.

Paint in banks is long held on the surface. It is more expensive than an aerosol, but durability covers this drawback. It will take a few more time to process parts before applying. It is very convenient to apply the dye to the surface. It is the ability to protect the non-stained parts. It is also necessary when applied to remove the brake from disks (which is a problem for inexperienced motorists).

Paint manufacturers for calipers

When choosing paint for calipers, special attention should be paid to high quality and wear resistance. The aspect of the heat resistance is equally important, because the stained elements of the car are constantly susceptible to heating. The main thing is not to harm the elements of the braking system.

Heat-resistant paint for calipers - Foliatec

Foliatec is a German brand specializing exclusively on several variants of materials. This is a world-famous manufacturer whose products can enjoy consumers of many countries. They deserve such popularity due to the high quality of the products produced. The range is represented not a very wide color range, but the main shades are quite enough. Paint for brake calipers heat-resistant and high temperature. It is designed specifically for use in this area.

Main advantages:

  • no need to dismantle the wheels when applied;
  • tassel, which is applied paint, comes in the kit;
  • there is no need to process parts before painting, quite ordinary cleaning;
  • to prepare for painting, it is only required to dilute the hardener;
  • high resistance;
  • the range is presented in different packages;
  • offers compositions for different species coatings (mat, gloss, metallic).

Heat-resistant paint-aerosol Motip

Motip is not so famous, but actively used for tuning autocracy. This variant of the ACP is thermosetics, produced by the Dutch manufacturer for special purposes. The material is only in the canopy, which is a significant disadvantage.

Motype has the following qualities:

  • before use, you should remove and disassemble the item. Installation can be performed only after complete drying;
  • preparation of metal surfaces is required;
  • wide color palette for every taste;
  • it is advisable to use the primer and clean the rust;
  • famous manufacturer and excellent quality products.

The heat resistance of this option is one of the best. The caliper will not lose a beautiful appearance for a long time, it will not be necessary to further care and constantly updating painting. Motip paint more often used masters of professional car services. However, there is an alternative.

brand-Detail-img-title "\u003e Thermal resistance of this option is one of the best

You can use the classic powder painting. The result may and will give up to the previous two, but it will not be so bad.

For this type of painting, special thermosetting painting compositions are chosen. A durable coating is formed due to the fact that the powder particles in the sintering conditions react with the components of the surface of the calipers. The surface before this type of staining should be treated with high quality and cleaned with zeal.

In the end, you should specify that there are different technologies and sufficient choice of paints for your car. Do not rush to experiment, because the caliper is the most important detail on which your safety depends. Conventional paints are completely different. Foliatec or Motip will be the best choice For independent work. It is necessary to be seduced by a low price, otherwise it is difficult and quality.

To improve the attractiveness of the car and give it an individual style, many car owners resort to painting of drums and calipers of brake systems. This method allows instead of a fabric gray metal "shine" harmoniously selected in the tone of the car brake mechanisms. In addition to the aesthetic attractiveness and creation of an auto image, the painting of calipers allows the metal from the negative effect of aggressive factors of the external environment and mechanical wear. The work details are presented in this article and video to it.

Califer paint selection

Since the process of painting calipers is not too voluminous, it is easy to carry it out. It is only necessary to clearly follow the instructions and pay attention to small parts. Among them, a special place should be equalized to solving the question regarding the color and type of paint.

Before the beginning painting work It is necessary to determine how the caliper will be painted. Paint must be answered performance characteristicsAnd also harmoniously combined directly with the car.

Defined with the color in which these brake parts will be painted, you can go in two ways:

  • choose a bright contrast shade;
  • pick in the color of cast chromed or wrought-iron disks.

So, on a black car, the red or blue caliper will look very interesting. Alternatively, some motorists use a combined painting at which several colors are combined at once.

If when choosing a pigment color to paint the calipers, the main role is played mainly wishes and fantasy of the car owner, then when choosing a type there are some requirements.

One of the main criteria that paint must be answered is a high heat resistance. During work brake system A large load falls on the calipers that are very hot.

Therefore, the paint should be necessarily the heat-resistant, since simple auto-email will be peeling.

Equipment and materials

Before painting brake calipers with their own hands, you need to prepare equipment, purchase necessary materials. To dismantle the wheels and each caliper individually, as well as for subsequent painting, it will take:

  • jack;
  • standard set of keys;
  • electrode, which has special cleansing and grinding nozzles or sandpaper;
  • malyary Scotch;
  • degreasing cleaner;
  • solvent;
  • gloves to protect the skin of the hands;
  • mask.

Separate attention should be paid to the room in which work will be held. It should be ventilated and clean, it requires good visibility. On the exhaust holes it is worth putting special filters and make wet cleaning, which will help get rid of dust.

Important: In the room it is necessary to maintain a constant temperature in the range of 15-22 degrees.

Preparation for staining

You can start to paint the calipers only after careful surface preparation. Depending on how well the caliper from dirt and rust is cleaned, painting coating will be applied so qualitatively.

The process of preparing calipers to paint with their own hands consists of the following steps:

  • dismantling wheels;
  • cleaning sleeves and anthers;
  • removal from the surface of rust calipers with hard metal brushes or electric drills with special nozzles;
  • the rough surface of the calipers should be as a result of cleaning smooth and brilliant;
  • the purified surface is degreased by White spirit or nonwoven rag, which leaves no villi;
  • using ordinary newspapers and greasy tape, closes elements that are not subject to color.

Carefully conducted preparatory work on the elimination of corrosion products and the subsequent mechanical polishing will allow quality to paint the caliper from which the paint will not be derained or disappeared. Video about painting from experienced masters will make even more clarity in this question.

Painting process

After completing all preparatory work And determine how the caliper will be painted, it is worth choosing a coloring method. The following methods are distinguished:

  • a tassel - the thickness of the layer must be minimal, and on the surface there should be no separation and villi;
  • tampon - the surface of the tampon is wetting the paint and leans to the caliper;
  • from the spray - staining is carried out at a distance of 30 cm with a uniform speed;
  • kraspopult.

During staining, unnecessary quantity should be avoided so that they do not appear. Watch the video about painting the calipers can be at the end of the article.

If powder paint is used, then the working mixture must be prepared immediately before applying it to the caliper. A plastic container is required, in which the powder is dumped with a hardener in the proportion provided in the instruction.

Staining the surface is made in two layers. At the same time, after applying one layer, it is necessary to wait 20 minutes and apply the second layer. When applying another layer of movement, you must be performed in a perpendicular direction, which will eliminate the appearance of visible lines or strips.

Full paint drying lasts day, at this time the car should be left in the garage.

Over the next few days after painting, even if it is heat-resistant paint, it is recommended that sparing mode with the cancellation of trips for long distances. Vitely understand how to paint the caliper, you can from the video.

Collapse painting

Separate attention should be given to painting brake calipers with your own hands using the paintopults. There are several important features in work:

  • the paintopult moves strictly parallel to the surface of the caliper;
  • the speed of movements should not be higher than 300-400 mm / s, since with slow movement they will be formed, and the rapid and subtle coating will be obtained by quickly;
  • keep the paintopult is needed at a distance of 25-30 cm from the stained surface;
  • the size of the torch is set not higher than 30 cm, and the form is selected oval;
  • one layer of paint should be applied horizontally, and the other is vertically;
  • special attention should be paid to the correct air supply - one should not accelerate the process of painting due to the spraying of thick layers, as this will lead to uneven staining, subnecessak and other defects.

Currently, more and more motorists independently paint the caliper with their own hands, without resorting to the services of professionals. Viewing video on this topic will help make a job correctly.

A stylish car with cast discs today, as a rule, calipers are painted. Giving bright shades of these elements of the brake system is a specific tribute to fashion. However, painting the calipers serves to another important goal. In this material, we decided to figure out, why paint the details, as well as how to paint the calipers and make it right. And our selection of photos will help you determine what color to paint calipers.

Why paint caliper

There are two main reasons for painting calipers.

1. Paint protects the item.

The fact is that the surface of the unpainted calipers has a porous structure, so it is easily covered by road dirt and brake dust, bitumen particles and road reagents. As a result, the details are formed a dense dark crust of pollution, which reduces thermal conductivity and contributes to the heating of calipers. In addition, corrosion occurs on the untreated metal surface. Painting special compositions Protects the part from rust, also painted calipers become smoother, as a result of which they are less polluted and heated. Therefore, you need to know how to paint calipers, it is necessary to protect them.

2. Painting as an element of the image of your car.

Fashion paint calipers came to us from the world sports cars. As a rule, through alloy wheels The details of the brake system are clearly visible. Therefore, they began to paint in bright shades. For some painted calipers can become an element of the status of a car, for other coloring - this is another opportunity to be one step closer to the attractive world of racing machines.

Since painting has not only decorative, but also protective functions, let's find out how to paint the calipers with your own hands.

How to paint calipers right?

Calipers can be easily painted independently. It is only necessary to know which materials to use, and comply with technology.

So, before proceeding to work, prepare everything you need.

We will need the following materials:

  • Spanner and jack to remove the wheel.
  • Metal brush and grinding skin.
  • Masking paper, film and greasy tape.
  • Degreaser.
  • Enamel for Motip calipers.

For high-quality painting details, we will need a lot of time. If you are novice and paint for the first time, leave free all day. If you have already been engaged in similar works and approximately you know how to paint calipers, plan to meet for half a day.

How to paint calipers: work technology

1. In order to as much as possible to paint the calipers, you need to open access to them, removing the wheels. It will be convenient to remove two wheels at first on one side of the car, and then spend work on the other. Use a wrench and jack, as well as special stands to securely fix the car. After removing the wheels, access to the calipers is open and you can begin with their processing.

2. The first thing the caliper must be carefully cleaned from the layer of dirt and chemical reagents, as well as traces of corrosion using a metal brush. You can use a drill with special nozzles. Then clean the surface with the skin. Separate attention should be paid to hard-to-reach places. After all, high-quality cleaning is crucial in how to paint calipers and maintain the result obtained for a long time.

3. Now you need to cover the area around the calipers to which the paint should not get. To do this, use masking paper or a conventional film, fasten everything with painting tape. Especially protect the surface of the rotor and brake pads - They are forbidden to paint!

4. Then the surface of the caliper must be deguted. Remember: All stages of purification from dirt and fat need to be carried out as carefully as possible. After all, the quality and durability of painting will depend on it.

5. Now learn how to paint calipers. To do this, take a balloon and thoroughly shake it. We begin to apply paint layers, while drying each of them for a few minutes. Total should be caused 4 layers, while the first two to make light, and the third and fourth - dense. Try not to overdo it, otherwise they will appear. The paint dries quickly - already 20 minutes after applying all the layers, you can remove protective paper and wear the wheel.

6. In the same way, we proceed the rest of the calipers and admire the result obtained!

Enamel for Motip calipers will make the surface of parts resistant to the effects of aggressive substances and small damage. In addition, the paint has heat resistance up to 120 ° C and will last on the calipers for a long time. By the way, pre-priming before applying Motip paint is not required!

Interesting ideas how to paint calipers

In fact, the shade of calipers remains at the discretion of your imagination. However, defined in what color to paint calipers, consider some points:

Bright accents will be red, blue and yellow colors. You can make calipers with red - in the color of the details of the Ferrari sports car system. Blue colour It will be great on the background of the white body and creatively - on the background of red! Yellow calipers perfectly complement the green, brown or blue car.

Calm classic options will be white, silver or black colors, which will look great in conjunction with other parts of the body. You can choose paint in accordance with the body color, and you can paint the calipers into contrasting shades.

Original calipers of pink or lightning color look original. By the way, the last tint of the details in the new Seat Tango are painted!

In the article about, we noted - which is large minuses of cast iron, is their gradual oxidation and as a result of rust. It should be noted that it is practically on all machines. Sooner or later they bloom and after three to four years, they are simply all covered with "rusty dots", it seems, of course, not very neat. Therefore, a question very often arises - and what and how to paint drums? So so that the "maximum" does not rust? Let's deal with ...

To be honest, you are not so difficult to paint the discs, but it's almost impossible to completely protect them from rust. Cast iron certainly impedes this phenomenon for a long time, but still he is not colored metal and rust is quite an explanatory process of his life, and under the wheels of the car, especially in winter We can observe - a salt-sandy mixture that fights ice, but also makes the cars faster rust and rot, and the drums are not an exception. So it will not be possible to protect 100%, but you can try to try on a long time.

Initial data

Well, there is an ordinary car, and now "drums" are set on many models. Starting from our AvtoVAZ, ending with popular Rio, Solaris, Polo, Almera, Aveo. Often they are of course cast iron, and therefore two to three years will rust. We need to restore them with their own hands. What actually we will do today.

What do you need?

In order to paint them, we need to start to prepare. So what we need:

  • Metal brush, you can on a drill, can be manual manual.

  • Mounting tape, usually paper.
  • For disk processing.
  • High temperature primer, well, or ordinary.
  • High temperature paint.

  • Degreaser, usually "solvent" or "White spirit"
  • I recommend gloves and respirator.

Everything about everything will go about rubles 500 - 700, it may be a little less, because at home, most likely there is a solvent and gloves. So the main price will fall on the paint and soil.

What paint and primer, choose correctly

What I want to note about paint and primer, the choice should be correct, I would even say the usual paint here is not suitable, I'm talking about enamel that sold in the cans. Here you need to choose high temperature compositions. What does it mean?

When working, the drums are very hot, the temperature can reach 100-10 degrees Celsius. Ordinary paint, will begin to flow or even burn, so - appearance brake drums Only worsen (and not to improve), there will be permanent leaks that are mixed with dust and mud.

Therefore, we definitely buy high-temperature paint, it can withstand temperatures from 120 to 150 degrees Celsius, does not flow and does not burn.

It can also be sold in the canopy, and by the application method is no different from ordinary enamel.

What else I want to say - still the cans are very convenient to use, the paint in the banks you just do not apply, it is quite difficult. Of course, you can "turn on the collective farm" and paint everything with a brush, but really nothing good from this.

I also want to say a few words about the color, many write - that you can paint only black, white or silver. The remaining colors are allegedly not suitable. Guys, I will say so - now you can paint with some color, even violet, high-temperature paints have almost any shade, so we choose the soul and "forward". However, think that you will fit your car, and what not! In the sense that if you have a blue car, you should not paint the drums in green, although this is a purely individual approach.

Painting process

Now I will tell the whole process on points, and there is nothing complicated here, even for a beginner:

  • It is advisable to carry out work in the garage or closed from dust boxing. Nevertheless, we do not need dust, because points will remain on the surface of the paint. Of course, they will not be particularly visible, but still there is no need for it.
  • Raise the side and remove the wheel, it is desirable next to the jack to put something insuring, for example a wooden "chorbach".
  • We see a disc, you need to remove all rust with it and if there is old paint, it is desirable to remove it. The dusty process, so you can wear a respirator.

  • After all this, we start processing the disk. I read that before degreasing, you need to wipe the drum by the rust converter and then wait for about an hour. So that the transformation process has passed successfully.
  • Further degrease the surface. To do this, simply wipe the "solvent" or "White Spirit". After processing, we wait until everything dry is about 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Then we need to shut with painting scotch all the parts that actually protrude is the nut of the hub, holes or bolts for the disk. I would also stick the wing around the perimeter, you never know what. "Singing" is going on to avoid, getting paints on important surfaces. For example - threads, because if it falls there, spin the bolt or the nut will be very not easy.

  • After preparation, begin to primer the drums. The primer is applied to give a smooth deep surface, as well as the paint keeps better. Enough pair of soil layers. You do not need to "push" to the canister, paint one place for a long time, from this primer flows over the surface. It is necessary to apply fast and light "divorces", for example, to the right - to the left. The first layer will be thin, we need to wait until it gets up, usually about 30 minutes. Then we apply the second, we are also waiting. Now we have a surface in the ground. Of course, many do without it, but as I think it is not right! Nevertheless, with him paint will fall much better.

  • After the primer is dry, you can proceed to applying paint. The process is the same as with the primer, that is, you need to paint into several layers, it usually grabs three - four (with drying breaks), there is no sense to make sense more. For the layer will already be fat and less reliable. Also applied to the right - left, fast movements.

  • After the surface dried, you need to remove the greasy tape and you can hang the wheel.
