How to buy a car in Macedonia. Automobile roads in Northern Macedonia. Main traffic rules of Northern Macedonia

With Top, as we have bought the apartment a few years ago in the small Bulgarian town of Bansko, this place was the center of recreation for our family and our friends.

Bansko is not very big cityBut a very large ski resort, the best in Bulgaria, is even called the "Winter Capital of Bulgaria".

In winter, we are mainly entertaining ourselves skiing and snowboarding, but in the summer pulls on the road for new impressions.

We take the car and go ... We go around Bulgaria, because in this country there are a lot of interesting places, both for cognitive tourism and in order to enjoy natural beauty.

We go to Greece, because there, too, there is something to see and you can swim in the sea.

In September of this year, we decided to visit Macedonia and Albania.

So, we flew to Sofia and arrived home in Bansko. The city, as always, in the autumn, met us with beauty, rich harvest vegetables and fruits

Feeding five days in local attractions (Rilsky, rupto, Dobarsco), we got into the car and went on the road.

The first is the first - Macedonia, Ohrid.

We prepared for travel in advance, so they read on the Internet about Macedonia in general, and about the city of Ohrid in particular.

From Bansko to the Bulgarian-Macedon border about 100 km, then another 300 km in Macedonia and we are in Ohrid.

It is necessary to note separately that the roads were pleased - the coating is very good, for the number of cars that we met, they can be considered wide. The kilometers of 100 -120 were driving at a paid two-way wonderful highway with a speed limit of 130 km, paid for it about 2 euros, only slowed down about points for collecting money, they drove such 6 pieces, everywhere takes payment by cards, there were no worry about the local currency.

The city of Ohrid stands on the shore of Ohrid Lake. Lake of volcanic origin, great and deep, the water is purest, in good weather you can swim.

In Ohrid and its surroundings, there are many hotels on the shore, there are good beaches.

You can make a pleasant walk on the veil. We were upset by us, it was raining, there was a strong wind, stormylo, boats stood on joke at the pier, only walru could swim.

The city itself Ohrid is a wonderful place that attracts crowds of tourists from different countriesthat is completely not surprising. The first ancient settlements here were still in 2-3 centuries BC, then the colony was captured by the Romans, during the Byzantine rule, the city was an important shopping center on the way from Adriatic to Constantinople, then the city took Christianity. Preserved an antique amphitheater.

From the 5-6 centuries, the city began to settle down by the Slavic peoples, received his current name, was part of Bulgaria and even the capital of the Bulgarian kingdom is one of 25 years at Queen Samuel. Tsar Samuel built a fortress on a hill over the city, which has been thoroughly preserved to the present day, you can enter it and even stroll along the fortress wall for a symbolic fee of 0.3 euros.

In Ohrid, a student of Cyril and Methodius Holy Clement Ohrid was conducted and led his educational activities. It is believed to be in Ohrid was first createdalphabet cyrillic .

In the period of Byzantium, many churches and chapels were built in the city. Some sites report that in Ohrid and the surroundings of their 365, I do not know if it is true, but, really, very much and well preserved, many are now restored. A large cultural and religious center is still being built, which will include archaeological excavations, temples, concert hall, etc.

More than 500 years, until 1912, the city was powered by the Ottoman Empire and fell into decay, but Muslim did not accept, now about 80% of the population (as in all Macedonia) - Orthodox Christians. After graduating from the First Balkan War and Liberation from the Ottoman Empire, he was part of Serbia, then Yugoslavia, now in Macedonia.

I also want to provide important information for tourists. Macedonia is not a very rich country, so a visit to a very beautiful and interesting city Ohrid cost us inexpensively.

We ordered in advance two double studios in a small private hotel for 3 nights, for both 60 euros in cash during departure.

The city is small - you can go everywhere on foot. Lunch or dinner in the restaurant on the waterfront - in the tourist center itself - for 4 persons with wine, beer, Cognac costs about 40 euros.

They drank a very tasty local white wine "Alexander".

The language is very similar to the Bulgarian, it is written on all the menus, i.e. Russian letters, understand easily.

All who communicates with tourists speak English, no problems with communication.

A mother of pearl and pearls are produced in the lake and pretty decorations are made, simpler - 5-20 euros per bracelet, earrings, necklace, in good silver handmade - from 70 euro to "how much it is not a pity."

In July and August, there are a lot of tourists, just won't write, but the weather is good.

We also managed to visit the monastery of the Holy Nauma, which is located on the other side of Ohrid Lake, about 40 km from Ohrid. Now the monastery does not work, but earlier was a major religious and educational center. Release as a holy place, in the altar of the monastery of the monastery there are unique icons.

To the monastery from Ohrid, a lake tram walks several times a day, but also ride along the road along the lake was also nice. On the territory of the monastery there is a very beautiful new church of Saint Petka, near which the healing source beats with holy water.

On this, our stay in Macedonia ended and the Macedonian-Albanian border was already visible ahead.

The purpose of the second is the "terrible" Albania.

Most of our fellow citizens retained the "Soviet" idea of Albania as a wild and hostile country, and the youth does not know at all that there is such a country, because tours in Albania almost no one sells in Russia, but with geography in schools trouble. Albania scares, like an unknown.

When we told familiar what we were going to relax in Albania, people twisted a finger at the temple and looked at us as a squeezed. Articles in the internet about Albania also did not please - the people are wild, Islam strong, there is no roads and all that. But we are on the way, the hotel is booked, there is no road road.

Having enjoyed pleasant impressions in the monastery of the Holy Nauma and having sought the most delicious coffee in the same place, we entered the territory of Albania.

And it began ... In an unthinkable old, narrow road without a single pointer, we pass through a certain city, the navigator works as a dotted line, look at the woman behind the wheel as an eighth miracle of the world. After the city, the road leads us along the Ohrid Lake with the Albanian side, the asphalt becomes more worse and finally ends at all, the road turns into a direction.

The company quietly, I focused on the number of pits and ughabs.

Everyone thought about the fact that the worst predictions came true and that 200 km to the city of Durres - our holiday destination - we will be in such a mode.

Kilometers through 15 it was necessary to turn from the lake to the mountains, and the husband offered me to get out of the steering wheel, so as not to risk our lives. And then, about a miracle, we left for quite a decent new track. It turns out that we just drove along the area of the unfinished road. On the way, we were caught another such plot, kilometers 5, and that's it. Everything in the sense that it was the only unpleasant place not only on the roads of Albania, but in all our journey.

And the quality of the Tirana-Durres route (from the capital to the largest port in the country) can envy Kutuzovsky Avenue even after reconstruction.

It turned out that Albania is a normal country, and the Albanians are normal guys.

Italians know this very well, so they prefer to rest here. The level, of course, is lower than in Italy, but only one order, and the price is below five orders, and the sea is the same.

Almost all restaurants are focused on Italian cuisine and seafood, portions are large, the price is small. At lunch or dinner, you can meet 20-30 euros on four, fruit for dessert brings by default and do not turn on, while re-visiting the institution is treated with anything, mostly alcoholic beverages of local or their personal production.

In Durres there is a mosque, which the Egyptians built as a gift, it is positioned in all guidebooks as a landmark, so, nothing special with two minarets. It is almost the only reminder that the main religion in the country is Islam. There are no women in specific clothing on the streets, the appeals to the Namaz did not hear the impression that the whole "Unbeliever" was created. Everything is quiet, calm, about this:

We also got a good shopping. The thing is that some plants of famous Italian brands are located in Albania. Because of the cheap workforce, they don't even write on the clothes, which is seduced in Albania, all "Made in Italy", sell part of their products here in Albanian prices, i.e. Bluffs up to 30 euros, shoes up to 40, we bought good checkered x / b shirts for 150 rubles, such as sale. New shopping centers in Durres itself and on the highway to tyrana beautiful and comfortable.

As for the rest of the rest, then say: "Super, quickly everything in Albania", of course, it is impossible, but it is quite acceptable.

The hotel foundation is very diverse, the international criteria for hotels in the country are not accepted, so they paint stars on hotels in the amount of paint.

Best of all small private hotels are pleased and the desire to please the treasured tourist. In English they speak badly and rarely, they know Italian, willingly explain in the language of gestures, you can always agree.

Sea sandy and petty meters per 100-150 to swim should take a water bike and twist pedals, almost all hotels have their own free beach with sun beds and umbrellas, many have their own water bikes and give them for symbolic money.

Water from the shore warms up to the temperature of the pair milk, which is good for vacationers with children. The beaches are dirty, you have to be careful, you can step on a fragment of the bottle, the hotels are obliged to follow their beaches, but do it not always.

We were in the second half of September, it was not najako, there are few people, we decided that the season was already over.

With entertainment trouble. You can mentally take a walk along the embankment. In the evening of the city in the evening we did not go, from the beach zone it is kilometers to 10, you will not have to come on foot, urban transport has not seen, and in the beach strip the main evening entertainment is a restaurant, but it arranged it.

Of course, the biggest plus is the price of the question. Sometimes there was a feeling that we were brought to the Black Sea coast of Russia, only everything is cultured, quietly and five times cheaper.

I want to thank everyone who read to the end, I hope that it was interesting.

Before new places, friends!

Russia Moscow

Well, this is such an article. I will definitely use the advice of Julia. I hope that they will use you.

P.S.: Guys, a few hours left until the end of receiving competitive works ... I'm waiting for this moment!

Honestly, it was a pity to leave Belgrade. Very colorful city where a mixture of different cultures is very felt. Once again I remind you about visiting Belgrade, I wrote in.

But we are moving further at the rate of Greece, and on the road from the Serbian capital we get into a small traffic jam, road repair. I must say that this year I especially often met the repair of the road throughout the path. I do not know, maybe so coincided, or July is the most suitable month for this, but what happened.

We are going through Serbia, admiring beauty. Population of Serbia seven and a half million people. Moreover, the country is in the demographic crisis, having one of the most negative growth rates of the population around the world. Also a country in the top ten countries with the average highest age of citizens. Serbs make up more than 80 percent of the population.

I already wrote that Belgrade seemed to share Serbia into two parts, the mountains began to be south, the forests mixed and the beauty of unusual. Forests occupy about a third of the country. Already in the 14th century, the Serbian king banned an excessive cutting down of forests, and now five national parks are located on the territory of a small country. An important part of the country's economy is agriculture. But now only the fourth part of the population of Serbia works in the agricultural industry, and in the first post-war decades three quarters common population Yugoslavia worked in agriculture. Serbian villages in the mountains is something! At the state level, the country supports rural tourism, when tourists visit the villages in the mountains, try to eat environmentally friendly food, resting in nature.

I did not understand that it grows right next to the road, plums or peaches? I did not risk trying.

By the way, in Serbia according to statistics, a small number of citizens who leave abroad as tourists. In the same Slovakia, the number of tourists traveling abroad is five times more.

Now about the road.

Paid roads of Serbia

Several modern highways are being built in Serbia, the existing roads are updated. We are going through the high-speed road located in the mountains. Serbia's paid roads are very worthy, there are no Roma at refueling. There is a slight similarity with. Closer to the border with Macedonia, the autoban is narrowed, we are going through a narrow mountain serpentine, we see how the technique works in the mountains, they are building the road.

Serbian roads 2017 and a few years ago are different roads. In the recent past, they were far from perfect. Yes, and after the bombardments of NATOV, individual sections were injured. But lately the road improved efficiently. Serbia's paid road crosses the country from north to south to border with Macedonia. Payment of travel in Serbia takes place at the points of payment, price or in dinars, or in euros. The euro is just more expensive. The board is small. I did not mark - from 45 to 400 rubles for some long section. For travel through all Serbia from north to south and back I paid 960 rubles. I think this is an acceptable price. Permitted speed per highway 120 km / h. Be sure to include the Middle Light 24 hours a day. 0.3 ppm of blood alcohol is allowed. Studded rubber is prohibited, six months from October 1 to April 1, winter tires is required.
I can not say that the roadside infrastructure in Serbia is widely represented. And the refueling is not at every step, but the pointers, how much it remains to the nearest refueling. According to gasoline, the 95th, 1l costs about 77-78 rubles, translated ... Rooms in Serbia SRB, but the Internet-Dometer RS (Serbia Republic).

Serbia passed, purely symbolically - the border with Macedonia. A small queue from the machines on the borderboard.

And here they are Roma, the noisy crowd, not quite noisy and not the crowd. But they move parallel to the queue, knocking in the window of the machine, they ask for money. It was on the Serbian side, I am in order to take up (you never know what, still scratched a car) - Opened window, Serbian dinars stretch. And the gypsy as if offended, he did not even touch dinamars, says Evro, come on. I was awesome, no euro, "hesitated from here," there will not give anything at all. So did not give anything, did not want a dinar, then you will not get anything.

Not that, I did not expect, I just did not think that in Macedonia it would be so beautiful! The country is very beautiful. Macedonia, more precisely, Bruis is the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The capital is the city of Skopje. The language in which the Macedonians say, close to Bulgarian. The population of the country is 2.1 million people. 60 percent - Orthodox, 30 percent - Muslims. With the collapse of Yugoslavia, the republic came out of the composition beless. Macedonia supported NATO in the Yugoslav conflict. In 1991, the independence of Macedonia was proclaimed. But here the name of the new country in the Balkan Peninsula did not like the Greeks, did not like so much that the Greeks declared a trade blockade of Macedonia and achieved that the UN decided to call new country BURM, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Greeks consider Macedonia ancient Macedonia (where thessaloniki is located). But I like it or do not like the Greeks, and America recognized Macedonia in 1994, other countries tightened after it. The Greeks laid a ban on trade with Macedonia, closed the important port of thessaloniki for her. In response, Macedonians even went to meet - began to discuss the topic about the name, but here the terrorist attacks were killed by the Macedonian Prime Minister. Negotiations did not move anywhere.

Well, who is the most famous "Macedonian"? Right, Alexander, Communion. So the paid road in Macedonia wears his name, and the airport is also named, but the diplomatic airport Alexander the Great. And the airport is right at the road, that is, you go along the highway, turned right - all, you at the airport, as in a hypermarket at MKADE.

The airport

On the territory of the country there are many mountains of medium height, and mountain lakes with pearl water are hidden in the mountains. Macedonia is called country country and lakes. Natural beauty is a source of tourism development in Macedonia. What pleases the eye when you go, has a continuation. In the mountains is the most beautiful radics gorge in Europe or one of the most beautiful and clean lakes on Earth - Ohrid Lake. Natural potential is invaluable.

And foreigners are invested in winemaking and viticulture. In Macedonia, the earthquake is not rare, and a strong earthquake of 1963 destroyed the city of Skopje.

Now about prices. They are low here. European Agency Eurostat called Macedonia the most profitable shopping country. Prices here are the lowest in Europe below by 50%. On a roadside cafe, where we drank coffee and snacks, just say that prices are two times lower than in Greece. And it's not by chance, on the way back from Greece immediately after the border in a cafe on our petrolement complex LUKOIL in Macedonia, there were no people to pour. No fools - no one wants to overpay, and eat and refuel in Macedonia much cheaper. Wi-Fi Free is specified at each refueling, but in fact I could not catch everywhere. By the way, at the refueling of LUKOIL, we were welded with the best coffee in the Turk, for the first time I saw that there was a gas station in the cafe in the car in the Turk, the price was 50 rubles for our money for a cup. On prices more - in the capital of Skopje, the price of a square meter of housing costs 350 €! Luxury housing - more expensive 700 € per sq.m. Weaving land under Skopje costs about 500 €.

The cost of gasoline

95 in Macedonia costs - 0.99 €.

Paid roads of Macedonia

The road from Serbia to Greece passes by paid roads Macedonia. Payment is made at special points or local money, Macedonian dinarchs or euros, the minimum coin - 50 eurocents, the coins of 20.10 and are not taken below. And again - in euro it is not profitable to pay, the amount in local currency is recalculated less. Theoretically you can pay the card, I did not pay, read that because of technical problems Maps do not always pass. The amount of payment depends on the distance. Also, theoretically special patrols can check the payment of the road, the check must be saved, otherwise - fine. But I didn't meet such kind of good things.

Roads of Macedonia, already a pointer to Athens.

On the fifth day of our journey, we agrees with Serbia and returned to Macedonia later than we were calculated, and drove it from the northeast to the south-west already in complete darkness. In the next two days, that we spent in Macedonia, the weather did not work out, and traveling between cities we had to our afternoon and evening. Therefore, the mountainous beauties of this country did not have happened to us, but it was fortunate enough to catch the beginning of winter and the first snow - at first admiring them on the mountain peaks from afar, and then driving snow-covered mountain passes. We were glad that the tires took winter;)

Macedonia is very different from Serbia, but it is difficult for me to formulate exactly what it is. A quick acquaintance with the country from the car window left mixed feelings and impressions: undoubtedly impressive even at dusk landscapes (it is difficult to pass it on half-walled photos, unfortunately), more deserted (compared to the part of Serbia, what we saw) terrain, razoroltime, and Smaller arrangements, broken roads in non-central regions (according to such a particularly fascinating ride under torrential rain and in the mountains :), uncomfortable Albanian mountainous areas contrasting with Macedonian. I really hope to be in this country again, in better weather and without a rush to go around all the interesting places where we did not get, or that we only saw a glimpse. Anyway, Macedonia hooked, sunk in the heart :)
Ride?

And now we are transferred for a few days ahead. We went to Serbia and returned, and they did in full darkness of the hard path from the stalk to the Bitola through the mountains, rain and the strongest fog (visibility was only a few meters - an unforgettable sensation on serpentine! Tui was very helped by the map with a nafigator.

The sixth day of travel was marked by acquaintance with the town of Bitola, where we arrived late in the evening before, and moving to Ohrid on the shore of the same lake. The distance is small, but the road is zigzag, albeit quite satisfactory quality compared to serpentine, on which we were shaking in the fog in the afternoon :)

5. On the way from the Bitola admired the harsh November landscape and snow on the tops of the mountains.

6. The nafiigator seat next to the driver took a friend of her husband, and I was finally expelled to the back seat, so the pictures obtained more and more defocused. But to the mood of a foggy cold autumn, when the Niva is compressed, the groves goals, it even comes out :)

9. There was some reservoir between the hills, it did not work out.

14. And suddenly a new turn, and before us shone the water surface under the rays miraculously pierced because of the clouds.

15. Apparently, it was a lake of a press, which is the road to another lake, Ohrid.

16. And again autumn paints in a low-limited cavity ...

19. Suddenly, found themselves in a very cozy alley, reminded of the surroundings of the stalk ...

21. Then a series of short tunnels ...

23. And so we found themselves in Ohrid, and held a wonderful evening and half the day. It was too early, since it was on this day not only on the transcendental vertices, but also in Ohrid, it began to snow, what to talk about mountain passes in the Kichevo district and on the approach to the aunt, which we had to overcome along the way in Skopje.

24. So far, it has not been dark, I managed to put a little bit around.

33. Raised slightly higher in the mountains, and here it is, our first snow!
