- Next, pay your attention to fuel filters. If they are clean, working, then the pressure gauge arrow is only oppressed when the pump is working. Deviation of 0.3 atm. or more indicates that the filter must be changed because it is most likely scored;
If you have detected deviations in the operation of the specified components of the fuel supply system, it means you need to urgently check the BOSCH gas station itself for performance. This is done like this:
- First, we listen to how the electric jacon pump works directly on the fuel tank. We bring the car, listen. Uneven work will immediately say that it does not provide the necessary performance, it is possible that it is necessary to install a new one;
- There is a way to check the Bosch gas station without a pressure gauge. The gasoline must be disconnected and insert the hose into the jar. In one minute, the working pump should pump up one and a half liters of gasoline. If the performance is less - it is faulty;
- The test pressure gauge provides that the inverse flow hose is clarified (for example, pliers, medical clamp, etc.). At the same time, the pressure must be at least 4 atm. Note that the extent of the pump, the lower its pressure;
- Another option: to bring the engine speed up to 3000. The pressure at the same time should not fall if the fuel pump is working.
If a malfunction is better not to go anywhere, otherwise you can stay in the middle of the road and you will have to wait for the tow truck.
