- The film is glued directly onto the soapy water. The film is pressed only from the center of the glass to its edges.
- Bubbles of liquid and air are expelled from under the film with a rubber roller, then the film is dried with a construction hairdryer.

Windshield tinting VAZ 2107
The procedure for toning the windshield of the VAZ 2107 is no different from the procedure for toning the rear window described above. Only one nuance should be mentioned here: you should not cut off the supply of the film along the edges immediately after it is glued to the windshield. It is necessary to let the tinting stand for at least three hours, and only then trim the edges.
By the way, there is also an alternative way of tinting car windows without using a film, which one craftsman told me about. He took caustic soda (NaOH) and dissolved ordinary soldering rosin in it so that the rosin in the solution was about 20% (upon reaching this concentration, the solution turns dark yellow). Then he added ferrous sulfate to this composition. He poured it there until a bright red precipitate began to form in the solution. He carefully separated this sediment, and poured the remaining solution into a spray bottle and sprayed it onto the windshield. According to the craftsman, after the composition dries, a strong chemical film forms on the glass, which lasts for years.
So, tinting VAZ 2107 glass is a job that requires great accuracy and does not tolerate fuss. You can do it yourself, but you can't do without an assistant. And of course, you need to use only the highest quality tint films.
