Technical tuning of cars can significantly improve their characteristics compared to factory. This topic is particularly relevant to the owners of domestic cars, such as VAZ-2109, so this article is devoted to them. The object of modernization will serve as VAZ-2109, equipped with carburetor internal internal engineering model 21083. The main task of this improvement is to transform the carburetor motor into the injection route of the GBC to the VAZ-2112 aggregate.
"Nine" with the engine, converted under the sixteenhal adopted head, even without properly performed configuration behaves significantly better compared to the basic package. In this case, a minor deterioration of auto parameters is possible at a speed of up to 2,000 rpm, but this is more than compensated by an increase in thrust when the engine promotion is up to high revolutions. In many drivers, an indelible impression has the fact that the machine, provided that the road coating can freely reach 5,000 rpm.
Procedure for performing work
All stages of modernization can be carried out without removing the VAZ-2109 engine, although it is quite uncomfortable. Sequence of work:
- It is necessary to dismantle the GBC and the fuel tank, disconnecting all the tubes, fully disassemble the ignition system and the carburetor, remove the generator and thermostat, including all belts and pulleys.
After that, you can proceed to the installation of a gas tank equipped with a built-in fuel pump borrowed from the injection model;
- It will be necessary to disconnect the cooling system nozzles. Some of them can be used in the future, although the new KNC kit VAZ-2112 is not so expensive to save on it;
- Now you need to replace outdated pistons and rods with new, corresponding twelfth model (under floating fingers). This process is important because the elements of "nines" are not suitable due to their design features, and they are designed for less compression;
- The complete replacement of the regular oil pump with a cover with a lid on which the place for DPKV is provided may limit the installation of the lid alone.
There is a small nuance here: when removing this item without a powerful hexagon, it is not necessary;
- It is recommended to replace the entire set of the WAZ-2109 cooling system, since this solution is the most rational. Optionally, of course, certain elements can be left for the same;
- Preparatory work should be prepared before installing the CCC. First, it will take to shorten the bolts of the outdated head, and secondly, to drill holes up to 12 mm in the new;
Working with bolts
- Fuel lines borrowed from the model with an injection motor must be installed on the position provided for them;
- By mounting the benzobak, it should be connected to the corresponding highway. Their paving is performed from the control unit to the fuel pump. To avoid extension of the highway, you can perform a special hole in the engine compartment, more precisely - in its wall. In this case, the sensor wire determining fuel consumption is not changed;
- In a block intended for installation of a detonation device, it will be necessary to drill the hole and subsequently cut the thread;
- The pump is replaced with a similar device of the VAZ-2112, as well as the ventilation salnt of crankcase gases. Included with the latter it is worth buying oil probe;
- You can start installing the head, not forgetting to buy a new gasket. Before this procedure, it is recommended to prepare the surface of the GBC and pipelines, eliminating all the irregularities of the pairs with the help of a shag. This will allow to minimize the resistance arising in the cavity;
- The thermostat is mounted from the electric motor VAZ-2108;
- Connected nozzles for the coolant supply;
- The back cover of the gas distribution mechanism, rollers, pulleys from the 2112th model, belt, the generator, together with the electric drive, as well as the elements of the fastening from the G8 are mounted. In this case, the upper mounting hole of the block is not involved. Despite these fastenings of the unit with regular bolts for the lower holes, it is enough;
- The installation of all sensors to its locations is made (sensors are preferably acquired new);
- The valve lid is attached by means of sealant. It is necessary to return such elements as: Ignition Module, Receiver, Candle Wires, Choke and Corrugation. Then it is necessary to conduct wires to all sensors. It is installed on the corresponding places of the air filter and the cable from the drive of the throttle model 21103;
- Installation of the exhaust system of the car is performed. Acoustic filter (silencer) can be left for the same, and as for the collector and the resonator, they are better to purchase them;
- The wiring should be connected to the ignition lock and dashboard. In completion, the system must be filled with coolant, oil and fuel.
Final stage
After completing all the above items, the car tuning is considered complete. Now you can enjoy all the advantages of the VAZ-2109 acquired as a result of this upgrade.
