How to remove the instrument panel on the VAZ-2109

Removing the low option

7. On the stove control, you will see 4 fasteners that you want to dismantle.
8. Next, remove the 2 fasteners from the instrument panel.
9. Remove the dashboard visor.
10. Squeeze the spring clips and remove the housing with a combination of instruments.
11. Unscrew the speedometer fastener and disconnect it from the drive cable.
12. On the instrument panel, find the block with white wires and disconnect it from the power.
13. Find an econometric fitting and remove the hose from it. After that, it is possible to remove a pin.
14. Then disconnect the speedometer from the cable, with which the instrument readings are recorded per day.
15. Disconnect the red wiring from the power.
16. Pull the handles of the hydrocorographic and lighting switch.
17. Unscrew the two mounting nuts that are at the hydrocorographic socket and next to the instrument illumination switches.
18. Remove the steering wheel, along with switches that are under it.
19. You can only remove the power pads from the ignition lock only if you transfer it to the key to position 1.
20. From the steering column, remove 2 fasteners and as much nuts.
21. Together with the ignition lock, remove the steering column.
22. Pull the suction handle to remove it from the thrust. This traction holds the two fasteners to be removed.
23. To the left side and bottom of the instrument panel, remove the bolts. Do the same on the right side.
24. Inside the glove box is another mount that you need to unscrew.
25. Remove the latest mounts and carefully remove the panel.

How to remove high panel type

If you have a high panel model installed on your VAZ-2109, then you need to act differently:

1. First remove the steering wheel to access the dashboard.
2. If you have a carburetor engine, pull out the scene and remove the handle from it.

4. Remove the ashtray and cigarette lighter.
5. Pull the fan control knob.
