Replacing the ignition candles on the Nissan note. Replacing Ignition Clamps on Nissan Note (1.4)

Nissan Note Candle Replacement is one of the most important and necessary procedures that ensure uninterrupted operation of the car engine. ICE has a complex device in which even the smallest item plays a significant role. For example, the car transmission is responsible for the interaction of the motor with leading wheels, the brake pads provide an emergency speed reduction, the optics of the machine serves to improve the driver's review in the night or darkness. And why do I need spark plugs? Despite the important purpose of candles, their role, often, is unknown by even experienced drivers. So why are they important and how do they affect the work of the whole car?

Spark plugs are a device that is used to ignite the fuel and air mixture in the car engine to ensure its continuous operation. Spark plugs are 4 species: spark, incandescent candles, arc and catalytic. In gasoline engines used spark candles. The principle of their work is based on the formation of a powerful electric charge arising between the electrodes and an igniting the combustible mixture at a certain point in the engine operation.

If at least one candle fails, unrequited residues, the working mixture will be postponed in the car catalyst and lead to a complete engine stop or its ignition. Timely assistance to the car will allow you not only to significantly save on repair, but also to know better than your "iron friend."

The replacement of Nissan Note candles is made when the usual operation of the motor is disturbed. To determine the need to replace the device, it is recommended to produce its visual inspection. Since the spark plugs are constantly exposed to thermal and mechanical loads, their appearance can determine the degree of their performance.

In order to make an independent replacement of spark plugs by car Nissan Note, it is recommended to use the following manual.

1. Remove the engine cover if it is installed.

2. Disconnect the battery

3. Loosen the clamps on the rubber hose suitable for the air duct, then remove it

4. Disconnect the electrical connector suitable for the air collector

5. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose and remove the intake rubber nozzle.

6. Disconnect the air intake clips located above the radiator

7. Remove the air intake

8. Remove the air collector fastening bolts. Replacing the Nissan Note candles requires marginal accuracy and caution, because many parts have a plastic case and can break with the unsuccessful press

9. Remove the device. Do not allow dust, bolts, or other items in the intake manifold openings

10. Twisting bolts, completely remove the air collector

11. When the collector is completely removed, you will open the spark plug coils. In order to remove the device disconnect from the coils of high-voltage wires

12. By reloading the bolt, carefully remove the candle coil

13. Using the candle wrench, unscrew the spark plug

15. For the Nissan Note car, use Iridium Power Candles

Table - Definition of performance of the spark plug
Condition state Symptoms of damage to the candle Ways to eliminate damage
Normal Erosion damage is absent. The thermal cone color is light brown or light gray This state indicates the proper operation of the system. Candle replacement is not required, so it can be installed back.
Charred edges of electrodes Candle insulator has normal color, but electrodes are charred. Electronic clearance increased to the limit. Candles in such a state will make it difficult to start the engine in the winter period of the year and will lead to an increase in fuel consumption. Replacing Nissan Note candles. The new device must have the same thermal characteristics.
Pollution fuel mixture Candles in this case have a specific smell and wet deposits of dark brown or black. The car with such ignition candles is unstable, consumes a large amount of fuel and makes skipping in ignition. You can temporarily save the situation, cleaning the plates in gasoline. However, the problem of the formation of a sleeve on the electrodes can only be solved if the cause of the malfunction becomes.
Calil ignition The device isolator has a bright white color, and the electrodes are melted. At the same time, the car is observed premature ignition and frequent overheating of the motor. This candle does not fit the car on thermal characteristics. Replacing the device with the correct parameters.
Lead deposits Insulator and electrodes are covered with porous sediments having a sharp smell of hydrogen sulfide. This problem occurs during long-term use of strongly produced gasoline. A candle can be cleaned and set back in the event that there are no damage on the electrodes. It is recommended to change the gas station.
Glazing Yellow glossy spark plug body Recovery The device is not subject to, so its further replacement is recommended. However, it should be focused on the fact that the formation of this damage is created with a sharp press on the Gaza pedal by avid riders. To protect the car from this problem, it is recommended to use a smooth driving style.
Detonation The candle has obvious damage expressed by the cracks and the destruction of the insulator. Such a candle can cause a piston destruction. By installing a new candle, carefully adjust the candle clearance. Reuse of candles with data damage is prohibited.

Inspection and replacement of Nissan Note candles is carried out consistently. This allows not only not to get confused in the coils, but also provides the correct installation of devices.

When the condition of the candle is diagnosed and the necessary work is carried out, install the engine parts in the reverse order, not forgetting to abide care and accuracy. Be careful and everything will work out!

In my Nissan Note, a light bulb (engine) on the dashboard - check Engine. Then he noticed that the car began to work a bit with interruptions, Troit. There was still no time to diagnose the engine ... I sin on the spark plug. Check they also did not have time - I'll do it in the evening).

But since I never changed the candles in foreign cars, I decided to first ask in the Internet as in which the sequence to change them in order to break anything, as it often happens on ignorance;).

Before that, it was dealing with domestic cars - everything is simple - all in sight, unscrewed - looked, if something is wrong - I changed everything.

On the Internet about replacing candles in Nissan Note, they write, but somehow everything is not that. And by chance, on the link from some site, it came to the forum of site http://nissan-note.info/forum/viewtopic.php?p\u003d250730#250730, from where the lower-print instruction is taken.

My version of the replacement of the candles on Note 1.4. I apologize if I set up the capital truths and obvious, but may come in handy to someone. The removal of two plastic covers, as it was already described earlier, I did not succeed, because I could not unscrew the front bolts (it was not necessary to "unscrew it") in the picture), the square nut was tightened too tightly. As it turned out, and without it you can do.
So begin with the tool:

Tools needed to replace the candles on Note 1.4. The hinge key in my case did not come out due to the too large outer diameter of the approx. 24.5 mm. Because The seat of the candles is very deep and narrow forced to buy head / key to 16mm. (Spec. for candles with internally rubber washer), outer diameter approx. 22.5 mm. Question price 75 rub.

Remove two clips (1), electrical connectors 3 pcs. (2), two rubber hoses (3), we unscrew six bolts (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), we will remove another rubber hose (10) from the clamp (why it is needed and did not understand). Gently, but with an effort with the whole plastic housing up with the air filter. All - access to ignition coils is open.

We unscrew four more bolts (11) and remove the coils (12).

Change the candles and collect as always in reverse order. When installing plastic casing, I recommend paying attention to the rubber coupling (13), it can be blocked, therefore it is easier to pull it out of the valve cover and put it first to the appropriate place of plastic casing.
That's it! Good luck to all

P.s.: So, you can independently replace the spark plugs))).
Later I will tell you how things were about me .... maybe it's not in the candlelight, it will show the autopsy))))

To replace the candles, the next set of tools is required:

Candle wrench 16 mm with rubber band inside (or with magnet)

Head for 10 mm.

Horn key by 10 mm.

crosshead screwdriver

Pliers

Work.

The first thing we unscrew the bolts by 10 mm, which are attached to the lid on the dvigun with the Nissan logo. There are 7 pcs.

With the help of pliers, we remove the hoses suitable for it (3 pcs) and the hose of the gas feed, which is attached to the plastic cloth behind the engine.

With a screwdriver, unscrew the sensor located on top, and also remove the wires with 3 sensors, which are located on the lid.

Remove the air filter casing (2 spring latches)

Remove the cover with the Nissan logo.

Another plastic cover appears in front of us (smaller size), with a key to 10 mm unscrewing 4 mounting bolts.

Remove the candles before us.

Candles on our miracle are powered by special pads (ignition coils for each candle), which in turn are attached to the engine with a bolt with 10 mm.

Remove the bolts. When I got to the ignition coil, I had to disconnect the wire only from the candle 2 of the cylinder, because He was short. The rest of the candles revealed only the bolts.

Collected everything in reverse order without problems.

Just need to be attentive:

When connecting the hoses from behind the engine. Do not forget the gas housing hose tightly put in place;

When sitting down the top cover in place. It hermetically sits down in place and it is necessary to neatly twist the bolts, so that without skew;

When installing the casing of the air filter. First you need to shove the guide to the groove on the lid from the bottom, and then gently slide the spring snaps;

one of the plastic covers in oil. At first I was afraid that this is an oil crankcase and wanted to wipe it. But in fact, it is specifically applied there, so that it does not know where the dust has sedated on the lid and did not interfere with the normal operation of the engine. So it is not necessary to clean the oil.
