Nissan Qashqai Owner's Manual. NISSAN QASHQAI. Quick Start Guide qashqai Operating Guide

Designed to fill the market gap between traditional family hatchbacks and full-fledged crossovers, the Qashqai is the first truly European Nissan. It was designed at the British Nissan Technical Center Europe (NTCE) in Cranfield, designed by London studio Nissan Design Europe, and released on the assembly line of the plant in Sunderland. The name "Qashqai" is taken in honor of the ancient nomadic tribe of Qashqai, who still live in the Iranian province of Fars. Interestingly, in Japan and Australia, the car is sold under the name Dualis: this is due to the fact that the manufacturer was afraid of misreading the name as "cash cow" - "cash cow". Compact and agile, with high ground clearance (which is an indisputable advantage in modern urban conditions), the Nissan Qashqai undoubtedly attracted buyers. In no small measure, this was facilitated by the attractive design and the possibility of having an all-wheel drive.

The world premiere of the second generation of the model (factory designation - "J11") took place in November 2013 at the London Motor Show. In December, the car has already begun mass production on the conveyors of the British plant. For the Russian market, it is assembled in St. Petersburg. It is noteworthy that the management of Nissan has abandoned the seven-seat version of the crossover, which was previously produced with the designation "+2". The fact is that the research carried out by the company confirmed that such cars were bought not for the sake of additional seats, but because of the increased volume of the luggage compartment. Therefore, the second generation Nissan Qashqai is offered exclusively in a five-seater version.

The new Qashqai has taken on a strict modern look. The body is 47mm longer, 20mm wider and 15mm lower than its predecessor. At the same time, the drag coefficient of the car is now 0.32 - more than an excellent result for a car of this class. Front optics with LED daytime running lights merged in an aggressive "smile" with the radiator grille. The bumper has received many curved lines, surfaces and holes. The rear has been completely redesigned.

An interesting feature of the model is the exclusive curtains in the radiator grille, which close as speed increases and regulate the air flow. When the engine overheats, the automatics are triggered and the curtains open, directing air flows to the radiator to cool it.

The interior of the new Nissan Qashqai has received a modern design in a restrained classic color scheme and finished with quality materials. The engineers have paid great attention to improving ergonomics, so all buttons and switches are conveniently located and the instruments are easy to read. Everything is worked out down to the smallest detail. For example, the cupholders are now so deep that a half-liter bottle can be placed in them so that it does not interfere with the driver's elbow.

The seats are designed with the aerospace industry in mind, which not only provides a comfortable fit, but also improves blood flow in the lower back. And by changing the layout of the rear of the cabin, it has become much more spacious for passengers in the back row.

The multimedia system not only plays music from different media and shows a navigation map, but also works with online applications. The screen of the multimedia system "migrated" from the top to the front of the center console.

Normally, up to 430 liters of cargo can be placed in the luggage compartment, which has an additional niche for the spare wheel. If necessary, the second row seats can be folded, due to which the useful volume of the cargo compartment will increase to 1585 liters (quite enough to easily transport any refrigerator or washing machine). In addition, to make it easier to load luggage, the tailgate rises 150mm higher than its predecessor.

The line of power units of the new Nissan Qashqai is represented by two gasoline and one diesel engines.

The role of the base engine is assigned to the DIG-T 115 turbocharged four-cylinder petrol unit with a working volume of 1.2 liters. This engine develops power up to 115hp, as well as up to 190Nm of torque. Such a motor is equipped with only a six-speed manual transmission, which provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in an average of 10.9-11.3 seconds.

The second gasoline engine is a modernized two-liter four-cylinder aspirated with 144hp. and a torque of 200N · m. There are two transmission options for this engine: a six-speed "mechanics" and an Xtronic CVT variator. The manual transmission provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 9.9 seconds, with the Xtronic variable speed controller the acceleration time is 10.1-10.5 seconds.

Diesel dCi 130 with a working volume of 1.6 liters develops power up to 130hp. and a torque of 320N · m. Like the base gasoline unit, the diesel engine is equipped with only one transmission option, but not "mechanics", an upgraded version of the Xtronic CVT variator, thanks to which the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 11.1 seconds.

At the heart of the second generation Nissan Qashqai is the new CMF (Common Module Family) modular platform with McPherson struts in the front suspension. The rear suspension design differs depending on the type of drive: front-wheel drive versions have a semi-independent rear suspension design, while all-wheel drive versions are equipped with a multi-link. The ALL-MODE 4 × 4-i all-wheel drive system, which connects the rear axle wheels via a multi-plate friction clutch, is available only for versions with a two-liter petrol engine and a CVT. The brakes of all wheels are disc, and on the front wheels they are also ventilated. The electric power steering rack and pinion has two modes of operation: traditional and sporty.

The Nissan Qashqai operating manual, offered by the Japanese automaker, as a mandatory addition to the car, can become a kind of "lifeline" for the owners of this vehicle in the event of potential problems with the functionality of the car, which in most cases appear at a certain distance from the places of technical assistance.

In general, regardless of the model generation of the vehicle, it contains detailed instructions for diagnostics, maintenance and repair, as well as for the required adjustment of the elements of the power plant systems, including aspects of cooling, lubrication, charging, starting and fuel injection systems for gasoline power units. ... In addition, anyone can find in this edition the features of the functionality of the automatic transmissions integrated into the Nissan Qashqai, the braking system, including ABS, TCS and ESP, transfer case, steering and so on. The above extensive information is supplemented by detailed wiring diagrams provided in the manual and full descriptions of the features of electrical equipment checks.

The information provided to the owners of the urban crossover from the Japanese company Nissan in the publication allows car owners to carry out competent maintenance of the vehicle on their own and do not bring its condition to expensive repairs. This manual, if the need for repair work arises, can serve as an indispensable tool for identifying and eliminating possible malfunctions in any of the components of the vehicle in question.

Speaking about the structure of the operational manual, it is necessary to clarify that at the very beginning there are general information about this vehicle and its passport data, as well as descriptions of instruments and controls. Further, recommendations are given regarding the operation process, basic safety rules, features of repair work and maintenance of the machine. This is followed by a review of the powertrain and aspects of repairing its major systems, as well as transmission, steering, chassis and braking systems. The following sections describe the electrical equipment and its main elements, features of replacing body components, recommendations for operating a car and supplementing the above information with color illustrations.

The considered Nissan Qashqai operating manual has a number of features, among which a clear and step-by-step description of possible repair procedures, the vastness of data for a qualified selection of the required spare parts and an abundance of drawings stand out. The manual is intended for car owners, personnel of repair shops and service stations.
