Logan is suitable for something with a Nissan. Which is better Renault Logan or Nissan Almera. Which car, who and when is better to buy

As you know, there are no ugly women - there is little vodka. They say that there are no ugly cars either - there is a bad point for photographing. Reaffirming these mantras, I put the new Nissan Almera this way and that, with a camera at the ready I climb through the snowdrifts and crawl around it on my knees in search of the very "G-spot" that will finally lead to a visual-aesthetic orgasm, but ... The written beauty from "Almera" somehow did not work out. Maybe at least lucky with the character?!

Nissan has already christened the new "Almeria" "admission ticket". And this is not lyrics, but pure marketing prose. For the Almera company now it is just the first, "entrance" model into the segment of inexpensive class B cars, where the Japanese company did not offer anything before. Stop, what about the current Almera Classic ?! Nissan say that the Classic was positioned as a model of a higher class C. The new Almera is larger than the "Classic", is the same in terms of the set of units, but at the same time it is cheaper. Therefore, the Nissan people declare a new product in a more affordable and growing class B: according to the calculations of marketers, this year the share of budget cars may account for up to 40% of the sales of the entire segment. There is also a second half of "prose": the Japanese really hope that the cheapened new Almera will become the first new foreign car for many buyers and an "entry ticket" to the Nissan brand itself. So what awaits those who buy this "ticket", deciding to join the ranks of the nissanovodov?

In general, the new Almera is in many ways old acquaintances. Did you recognize the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in it? And you are partly right! The second generation Bluebird Sylphy (G11) was offered from 2005 to 2012 and released in Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan. Moreover, this "Bluebird" is a relative of Renault Logan: both cars are based on the B0 platform! Only now the car has changed its registration: for Russia, Almera is assembled at AvtoVAZ. But the "Bluebird" has changed not only the name and "nest": after being reborn into the new Almera, in fact, only "feathers" remained from it!

The new Nissan Almera is being assembled at AvtoVAZ facilities with 50% localization. Bodies are stamped, boiled and painted here, and Russian subcontractors supply seats, plastic interior elements, side mirrors, tires, heater blocks and lighting equipment. In addition to Russia, Almera is also planned to be sold in Ukraine and Belarus.

The Bluebird Sylphy and Almera share the same exterior and interior dimensions, overall design, body panels and roof pillars. However, "Almera" specially for our roads has a strengthened platform and increased rigidity of the body structure due to additional struts and welding points. The trunk lid is already under the European license plate, the angle of entry is increased at the front bumper, and so that in the conditions of our "reagent" winter the gloss peels off the car less, the chrome-plated body elements now have a more corrosion-resistant coating.

But all these changes are not as striking as what happened to the salon. Alas, the solid interior of the Bluebird Sylphy (it is in the photo gallery) was "cut out" cleanly in order to reduce the cost of the future Almera! And instead of him ... Hello, Logan, I recognized you! And is it really possible to confuse with something your characteristic "oak" dashboard with the reverse tilt of the blinded "climate" block, a thin steering wheel with a massive hub (there are still no settings for the departure), a "bibikalk" at the end of the turn signal lever and this selector Automatic transmission, more like a "switch" of the ship's telegraph? How can you not recognize this location of the window regulator keys and the joystick for adjusting the mirrors, carefully hidden under the "handbrake" so that cunning human fingers do not reach it?

Logan's legacy literally climbs from everywhere, although in some ways “Almera” is trying to be different, albeit with varying success. In terms of visibility, I put an unambiguous "offset" on the larger and more convenient side mirrors than in Logan. But the windshield pillars of Almera are by no means "thin", the wipers after a single activation of the washer do not turn on immediately, but at speed from the windshield to the driver's wind they often blow away "tears" from the washer fluid. The wide adjustment of the driver's seat in height allows you to sit right up to the ceiling (and it is high in the "Almera"!), But the "lift" itself is made in Logan's way: to adjust the seat cushion, you will have to jump again. The front seats have a different finish and supplier, but the same profile and a similar design, so they did not become much better than the "Frenchman". The chair still noticeably "breathes" during acceleration, the "warming up" buttons at the base of the seats still have to be felt, the back is narrow and noticeably short in height, and it is inconvenient to adjust its inclination with a tight and slippery "washer".

The curvature above the center vents is perhaps the only visible element that distinguishes the Almera dashboard from the Logan. But unlike Logan, Almera does not offer front side airbags even for a surcharge - there are only front airbags included in the basic equipment. But in the top-end configuration of Tekna, a Russified navigator is available.

Examining the salon, I continue to stumble upon new traces of savings. There is a piece, there is a piece ... For Almera, engineers have generous themselves with adjusting the front belts in height and ceiling handrails with microlift, but the mirror in the sun visor is only for the passenger, the pocket on the back of the back is also only for the passenger seat. On the front doors of some trim levels of the current Logan, there are already "boomerangs" of normal door handles, but Almera also saved on them: they simply made stampings in the door panels. Okay, they will fit like small pockets where you can throw your phone or a package of gum.

And yet the simpleton Almera partly takes revenge at the expense of the most spacious interior in the class, especially in the back row. The seats here are a wagon! The low transmission tunnel does not interfere with the legs, the dense sofa turned out to be honestly three-seater, even in winter clothes, with a height of 180 cm, I still had about 10 cm above my head, and the same amount separated my knees from the back of the front seat pushed all the way back. You sit on a wide "gallery" waddling, warm air blows at your feet from separate deflectors ...

However, Almera's budget "gags" remind you that you are not in an expensive limousine. If you drink something refreshing, you will have to hold everything in your hands, since there is not even a hint of cup holders behind. The back is completely flat and lateral support is not about her. In addition, the back itself does not fold down and there is no hatch in it (as on the Logan). So it won't be easy to transport a lengthy length, you have to work with wrenches, removing the backrest and the partition behind it.

Almera has not only the longest wheelbase in the class, but also almost "limousine" legroom: in this respect, the new car surpassed even the VW Passat of the previous generation. The windows in the racks came from the Nissan Bluebird, but the non-folding back of the sofa - from the same "Logan". And the massive head restraints, even when folded, noticeably block the rearward view.

The real "masterpiece" of ergonomics is the rear power window buttons on the floor between the front seats! Even me, with my height and long arms like those of the KGB, had to fold in half and reach for these buttons as in a movie they strained to reach for a pistol. Honestly, it's easier to press these keys with your foot than to squirm like that! Maybe over time, Nissan will be honored to change this? And not only that - during the test, my colleagues and I "poured" a lot of comments on the car to the Nissan drivers. They diligently wrote down everything, promised to take note of the claims and, if possible, introduce changes. I hope that it will be accepted and implemented.

But as for the changes under the hood, hopes are weak. The bottom line is that on the Bluebird Sylphy and Almera technique they diverge even further. The Bluebird had a wide range of units, which included three gasoline engines (1.5, 1.6 and 2 liters), three gearboxes (manual, automatic and variator) and even four-wheel drive for a 1.5-liter engine! But in the budget Almera, the "attraction of generosity" was closed. The drive is now only front, and there is only one motor. Instead of Nissan units, Almera received a 1.6-liter Renault K4M 16-valve engine, already familiar from the Logan / Sandero models and producing the same 102 hp "inconvenient" for vehicle tax. The basic 5-speed manual transmission of the JH5 series and the 4-range "automatic" DP2 with winter mode are the same as those of the Logan, and the gear ratios of the boxes and the drive axle in the Almera and Logan are the same.

The suspension patterns of the Bluebird Sylphy and Almera also remain the same: in front there are McPherson "plugs" with disc brakes, and at the back there is a twist beam with drum brakes. Cheap and cheerful! But "Almera" will have to run on our roads, so the suspension has been almost completely reconfigured to increase its energy intensity. To do this, the suspension moves were lengthened (now they are like those of Logan), along the way, the springs, the front stabilizer and the rear beam were "tightened", plus shock absorbers with more comfortable settings were installed on the car.

The 1.6-liter 102-horsepower K4M engine installed in Almeria is also adapted for cold starts, equipped with a more powerful starter and battery, and can "digest" 92, 95 and 98th gasoline. The neck of the 5-liter washer reservoir, in Logan's manner, is located on a "shelf" under the windshield (in the photo - top left).

Although it dripped from a fly in the ointment. If both 15- and 16-inch wheels were offered for the "brotherly" Bluebird, then the Almera has cut the choice of wheels to 15-inch with 185/65 tires, on which the car looks somehow quite budget. To my surprised "why so ?!" Nissan responded that under 16-inch wheels it is necessary to "clamp" the suspension moves, "chemise" with the wheel arch liners, and in general, they say, the suspension on the Almera was immediately "sharpened" for this standard size. Everything is like Logan / Sandero, they are also "not allowed" more than 15 inches. But this is unlikely to stop our handy car owners, who will probably try to "stick" larger wheels on the Almera.

But even on 15-inch wheels, Almera ran along the asphalt asphalt of the Yaroslavl region, as if beaten by moths, so that I immediately remembered the famous "and I recognize the dear by the walk." I recognized you again, old man Logan! I already know this disregard for broken roads. So Almera scrapes along the joints and cracks of the canvas, various pits and bumpy primers with the equanimity and softness of a tank, only splashing tires over irregularities. Courage on bad roads is also added by 160 mm of ground clearance under the standard 2 mm steel underbody protection.

True, for the "omnivorous" long-travel suspension you have to pay with considerable rolls during rearrangements and noticeable transverse bumpiness when you "bring down" on uneven roads at high speeds, although this was quite predictable. The acuity of control also turned out to be expectedly neutral, more tuned in to comfort than to some kind of driver's sophistication. And if it will be difficult at speeds of 120 km / h, then one must be prepared for the rapidly growing "insensitivity" of the steering wheel in the near-zero zone. The steering wheel itself is well insulated from road "disturbances" and only on large irregularities or a "comb" is it periodically "pushed".

The Logan gauge scale migrated to the Almera unchanged. Even the turn signal buzzer - and that one from "Logan"! The tachometer still does not have a red zone and because of the same numbers it gets confused with the speedometer, the orange illumination and the "bars" of the fuel gauge and coolant temperature have not gone anywhere, and the turn signal on the "tidy" shows the same "indivisible" indicator.

But how smoothly the 4-speed "automatic" works! And in the kick-down mode, the box switches "down" with a minimum delay. Perhaps, I can only complain about the automatic transmission "hanging" when switching from the 3rd to the 4th stage under the gas discharge, but, in general, the settings turned out to be very worthy. But I liked the manual transmission less because of the long strokes of the noticeably loosened lever and not too high clarity of the shifting - from habit it is easy to confuse gears.

As for the traction talents of a 1.6-liter engine in conjunction with an "automatic", then with a hundred "horses" for 1.2 tons of weight, of course, you will not go too far: acceleration to "hundreds", for example, takes a leisurely 12.7 seconds ... Well, this is not a sports car, but a calm "familymobile" for a trip from point A to all subsequent points of the alphabet. If you remember this, then the motor is quite enough both in the city and on the highway, you can both accelerate and overtake. At the same time, due to the good "Shumka", the engine does not whine in every way and at cruising speeds of 110-120 km / h its rumbling does not bother. And this despite the fact that due to the "short" gear ratios in the transmission at the speeds indicated above, the engine operates at about 3100-3400 rpm.

I liked the powerful and transparent-informative brakes with a tight, short-stroke pedal. But there is a nuance. Of the active safety systems in the arsenal of Almera, there is only an ABS with a brake force distributor, but there is no stabilization system in principle. So you will have to "catch" the car with your own hands. I say this because during a sharp braking from a good ride on the asphalt on one side of the "Almera" several times "baptized" so that it was just right to be baptized himself. In general, it is better to be on the alert when actively braking on a mixed surface.

Trunk volume - 500 liters. Not bad, but the record does not pull - the same "Logan" has a volume of 510 liters and the loading aperture is wider. But, unlike him, "Almera" has a set of tools and a jack retracted under the floor and lie in the niche of a full-size spare wheel. On the inside of the lid there is a handle for closing, but you can open the trunk only with a key or by pulling the lock on the driver's floor.

With "Almera" I parted with mixed feelings. On the one hand, they are greeted by our clothes. There is nothing special for the new product to shine: in this segment there are cars that are much nicer, and more modern in terms of equipment. But Almera has its own trump cards up its sleeve. Simple as an ax, the trunk is large, the interior is spacious, the clearance is decent, the hardy suspension is made for bad roads - it already has everything that is needed for Russia.

And, of course, the price tag, which for the new "Almera" should become a kind of "forgiveness" for most of its flaws. And in terms of price range, Almera again comes close to Renault Logan! The cheapest will be the equipment with the inviting name Welcome (they say, welcome to Nissan!), Equipped only with "mechanics". The price is 429,000 rubles, although another 6,000 rubles will be taken in all versions for metallic body painting. But not to say that the car will be "naked". The price already includes two front airbags, power steering, front windows, ABS, on-board computer and heated rear window.

Need an air conditioner? It is offered starting with the Comfort package, which, according to the calculations of marketers, will account for the bulk of sales. "Air-conditioned" Comfort will cost 474,000 rubles for a manual transmission and 504,000 rubles for an "automatic". The price already includes central locking, heated front seats and mirrors, plus height adjustment of the driver's seat. The same cars, but with 15-inch alloy wheels, are 5,000 rubles more expensive.

According to the preliminary calculations of Nissan, only 25-30% of sales of Nissan Almera will fall on Moscow and St. Petersburg spoiled by foreign cars. The rest will "leave" for the regions.

The top version of Tekna costs 523,000 rubles for the "mechanics" and 553,000 rubles for the automatic transmission. In the base - alloy wheels, rear power windows and a leather-covered steering wheel. Cars with manual transmission, instead of audio preparation, already have a full-fledged CD / MP3 player with Bluetooth and 4 speakers. And only in this configuration, with a surcharge of only 12,000 rubles, a multimedia complex Nissan Connect with a 5-inch touchscreen and russified navigation is available. And nissan say that in this class only Almera is equipped with a similar built-in system.

Nissan's market plans for the new Almera are more than serious. Annual sales are expected to exceed 60,000 units over time, with Almera accounting for a quarter of all Nissan models sold in Russia, and biting off 7% of the market B-pie. The task is not easy, given that a dozen competitors like the same Logan, the record leaders of the class Hyundai Solaris (from 459,000 rubles), Kia Rio (from 490,000) and VW Polo (from 450,000), as well as newcomers like Citroen C-Elysee (from 456,000) and Chevrolet Cobalt (from 444,000). Will Almera be snapped up as another Russian bestseller? We'll find out soon: sales of new items will start at the end of March.

Earlier I wrote about + and - not being the owner, I acquired, I am using it and now I am typing the text in a different quality ...
About poles:
1) Big sedan, for reasonable money and the freshest years
2) Perhaps the most spacious in its class.
3) The strength and simplicity of components and assemblies are internal from Renault and external Japanese look from Nissan.
4) Not expensive in maintenance, maintenance. Spare parts, consumables in any car shop. In fact, one to one from Largus ...
5) ICE K4M, simple, reliable, with a tremendous motor resource and the absence of a phase regulator.
6) Simple, strong, well-adapted suspension for our roads.
7) Excellent visibility through the rear-view mirrors.
8) Decent clearance for a sedan of 160 mm. and not a single suspension element destroys this clearance.
9) A large trunk, folding the backs of the rear row seats further increases it.
10) Very good light of the front optics.
"Russian Almera" is one of the most common sedans working in a taxi, thanks to the summation of the above advantages and the presence of the K4M engine, which, without any manipulations, nurses up to 500 thousand km, then replace rings, oil seals and again into battle!

1) The K4M engine was designed at a time when the engineer was thinking about the reliability and durability of the motors. Therefore, the cast-iron block, simplicity of design, hundreds of thousands of kilometers before overhaul! But, attention to the timing unit, the planned replacement of the timing belt + rollers every 60 thousand km. or once every four years, whichever comes first. For 120,000 km, we will also replace the pump, as well as the ridge belt and rollers to it.
2) Design feature of the valve cover. It is fastened with small bolts and acts as a single yoke for the camshafts.
3) Poor tightness of the motor, the valve cover and the place where the oil separator contacts the valve cover
4) On sedans with manual transmission, control over the state of the left front drive for the presence of fogging in the boot and possible leakage of transmission fluid. The design is the same as in Renault Logan!
5) automatic transmission DP2 is afraid of: contaminated transmission oil, prolonged driving at high speeds, slippage. Inclined to overheating. At minus t, start the movement, warm up. Having started the movement, do not give high rpm initially. Solenoids come out of standing, first of all, the linear pressure solenoid suffers oil in the automatic transmission.
6) Not an important view in the rearview mirror.

No intervention yet!
Scheduled engine oil change -Elf Evolution 900 SXR with a viscosity of 5w30, recommended for these Renault engines. Oil filter change -Mann 75/3.
In the near future, the replacement of the air filter is still the same Mann 1858/2 and the cabin filter.
If you do not put off the ascetic interior of the car, I recommend this sedan for purchase! For those who do not practice aggressive driving, who need a car for everyday, problem-free operation and want to save their family budget by spending the money they earn not on hardware, but on more significant, fundamental needs!
Good to all!

Despite the common design base, Renault Logan and Nissan Almera are perceived by consumers as completely different cars. In the first half of 2014, 31,157 people became owners of Almera in Russia. For Logan, this figure is higher - 34,725 buyers.

Salon and finishing

What attracts a Russian person to a Japanese car? An in-depth study of the forums of motorists has shown what attracts Nissan Almera to the external similarity with the Teana and the spacious interior. The birthplace of the brand also plays an important role. The owner's belonging to a certain "clan" of drivers ensures the popularity of the model. Our man likes to receive a lot, but pay little. Somewhere this happens with a new Japanese car.

A wheelbase of 2,700 mm and a flat seat provide space for passengers in the cabin. If you have the skill, you can even throw one leg over the other. But this is not business class. Therefore, the owners of Almera are trying to disguise the simplicity of the cabin. Seat covers and steering wheel covers, navigators and DVRs and other decorations are used. The composition is usually crowned with a flavoring agent. The appearance of the Nissan is already pretty good - the only thing that can be improved are the wheels. In relation to the plumpness of the body, they are smallish.

The interior design of Renault Logan still has old flaws. Although the quality of the finish has increased, but the steering wheel and its column are still tightly fastened (like Almer's). Positioning the chair into this position can take a long time, but still not produce the desired results. Nissan has a better one with that. The back fits properly to the seat and receives the necessary support.

The Nissan Almera has one undeniable advantage that experienced Logan owners will appreciate. On the Nissan windshield, "snot" is not formed. This is the nickname for the annoying drop that forms at the junction of the cleaning zones of the wipers. This phenomenon has gained widespread coverage in certain circles. It is noteworthy that the new Renault did not get rid of it, it only decreased in size.

Audio and multimedia

The Nissan audio system is the height of consistency and ergonomics - keeping budget simplicity, of course. The only problem is there is no USB port. This luxury is provided only in top-end trim levels.

Logan's multimedia system controls are assembled on a touch screen. You can only fully feel the on and off button. The screen is easy to use - large controls and a quick response allow you not to be distracted from the control of the car. The USB port on the screen frame once again makes you remember that the car is budget.

Dashboard

The dashboard of the new Renault is dressed up. At least when compared to previous versions or Almera. At the bottom of beautiful wells, like the Megane, there are dials. For some reason, they are piled forward and lost contrast. The night illumination was bright, you always want to dim it. And now there is no coolant temperature sensor - it will be more difficult to determine the engine overheating. But it is not all that bad. The power window buttons have moved to the door, and the horn button is finally on the steering wheel. In addition, a real climate control system, albeit a little noisy, appeared.

Rear seat passengers will not be constrained. There is less space than in the Almera, but it will definitely not be cramped.

Luggage compartment

Trunk volumes for both cars are almost the same - 500 liters for Almera and 510 liters for Renault Logan. At the same time, the Frenchman is shorter than his Japanese relative (Logan - 4346, Almera - 4656). At the same time, the Nissan trunk looks somewhat neater. The entire luggage compartment is lined with fabric, and the hinges and handles are neat. Both participants are equipped with an asymmetrical rear seat back.

Engine and handling

Both cars have a French engine with sixteen valves, 1.6 liters, 102 horsepower. But due to the environmental settings of "Euro-5", Renault Logan cannot be filled with 92nd, only 95th. This circumstance alone can scare off doubters. The 92nd poured into the Almera does not have the best effect on driving dynamics. But for leisurely drivers, this difference will not be fundamental, especially outside the city bustle. So for urban movements it is better to use the 95th, and for long journeys over long distances, you can safely feed the Almera 92nd.

Considering the overall dynamics of management, we can say that the Logan is somewhat "faster". He, unlike Almer, has an electronic gas pedal, which allows you to get rid of the itch conveyed by the cable. And in general, in the management of Renault Logan, there are many different "a little" and "a little", which can greatly facilitate movement along the crowded streets of the city. The gears of the five-speed gearbox are shifted a little more clearly, the steering wheel is a little easier to turn. In addition, the Logan has parking sensors on the rear bumper, although Nissan needs them more.

Both sedans brake in exactly the same way. The difference is almost imperceptible without precise measuring technology. The unpleasant moment is that in order to brake a loaded car to the eyeballs, you will have to apply a tangible force to the pedal. This aspect is also affected by the feature of budget models - small brake pads.

On a straight line, the sensations from Nissan are indistinct. Every now and then I want to turn the steering wheel left and right. Due to the soft suspension, the Japanese has a tendency to sway when cornering, especially in a loaded state. While the Logan has a stiffer suspension, it is more resistant to swinging. In general, both cars are comfortable enough. Personal preferences of the buyer will play a role in the choice - someone likes the clarity of Logan control, and someone prefers an energy-intensive suspension that "swallows" speed bumps.

Both of the B + sedans are not equipped with any acoustic comfort system. At a speed above one hundred kilometers, you will have to scream in the cabin. But for a budget class car, this is not critical, because it is not supposed to.

Summing up

To achieve a full-fledged consumer level, Logan only lacks adjustment of the steering wheel and a comfortable seat, but the Frenchman has strengthened his position in the “low-cost” class. Even so, the population greeted Almera more warmly, while Logan had a cool welcome. It turns out that the Japanese are chosen with the heart, succumbing to feelings, and the Frenchman - with the mind. However, the presence of Almera's many diminutive nicknames does not save her from the obvious superiority of Logan.

Compact cars are very popular in the Russian market, due to the fact that they are very economical and maneuverable. Of course, Asian car manufacturers are the leader in deliveries, but the Europeans are not far behind them. Today we will compare the Nissan Almera and Renault Logan, which can already be safely called legendary models.

The debut version of the Nissan Almera first rolled off the assembly line in 1995. The car was given a very difficult task - to surpass its eminent predecessor Nissan Sunny and, looking ahead, we note that he succeeded. The release of the first modification of the Almer was divided into two stages: before 1998, and after 1998. There are significant differences between them, which mainly relate to the design of the exterior.

In 2000, the production of Almera 2 started, which quickly became one of the bestsellers in the market in its segment and sold very well, especially in the Russian market. Since 2006, a modification of the model in the back of the B10, which was referred to as the Almera Classic, has been supplied to the domestic market. Since the summer of 2012, the "Japanese" has been assembled at the Togliatti plant of the Nissan company, which greatly influenced the fall in the price of the compact car.

The budget subcompact Renault Logan first appeared in 2004, and immediately after the presentation, its assembly began at the Romanian enterprises of the company. A year later, using module B0, domestic specialists. Due to the fact that the developers were forced to invest in the cost of the model - 5,000 euros, they had to sacrifice something, and, for some reason, by "something" they meant a security system, which, to put it mildly, Logan does not have impressive.

To increase demand, the French concern has significantly expanded the range of bodies. In addition to the sedan, it was now possible to take a station wagon, van and pickup. In 2008, the Frenchman underwent modernization, as a result of which the level of car safety increased slightly.

In 2012, Logan 2 was introduced, but the “Frenchman” began to be supplied to the Russian market only two years later. Around the same time, the assembly of the model began to be carried out at AvtoVAZ. Logan was named Car of the Year at the end of 2013.

Which is better - Nissan Almera or Renault Logan? Despite the fact that the career of the “Japanese” began much earlier, Logan still achieved more success, so we give him an advantage in this point.

Specifications

The most recent version of Almera was released in 2012, the updated Logan 2 has been produced since 2014, we will contrast the technical characteristics of these modifications today. So, both cars are built on front-wheel drive bogies and are equipped with four-speed automatic transmissions.

However, in terms of dimensions, such parity is no longer observed. The body of the Almera is 310 mm longer than the Logan and 5 mm higher than it. The size of the wheelbase is larger for the Japanese car - 2700 mm / 2634 mm. The situation is similar with the ground clearance height - 160 mm / 155 mm. Given such a difference in size, it is not surprising that Logan is 65 kg lighter than his opponent - 1156 kg / 1221 kg. What do you think: who has the largest luggage compartment? Most likely, the majority will answer: "Of course, Almer has", but, as strange as it may sound, the trunk is 10 liters more spacious for Logan - 510 l / 500 l. Both cars are equipped with 15-inch wheel elements.

Now let's go deeper into the topic of powertrains. Both models are equipped with 1.6-liter petrol engines. The difference between them lies only in the fact that the engine of the "Japanese" is not very picky about the quality of fuel, and can safely operate on the 92nd, which cannot be said about Logan. Each of the engines produces 102 horsepower. However, due to the smaller size of the Logan, and, accordingly, the lower weight of the body, it is more dynamic than its counterpart. Judge for yourself: to disperse the Frenchman from zero to a hundred, you need to spend 11.7 s, and Almera - 12.7 s. A whole second difference! Besides, . Its average consumption is 8.3 liters, which is 0.2 liters less than that of the opponent.

Appearance

Visually, the models are very similar, but you can still notice some differences in the design of the exterior. So, outwardly, Logan is made in a very dynamic and at the same time voluminous style, and its Japanese competitor can offer a solid and representative exterior, with notes of traditionalism and conservatism.

At the front, Logan is equipped with a very large bulging windshield and a smooth drop-down hood. A similar arrangement of elements and the Japanese car. On the "nose" you can see a branded radiator grille, resembling a bird, instead of a beak, which has a company logo, and huge concept headlights. Almera can oppose this with a rectangular false radiator grille and rather interesting headlights, in a unique design. The lower part of the bumper of both models looks very powerful, and is equipped with similar foglights. The main differences between the air intakes: for Logan it is a wide element decorated with chrome, while for Almer it has a trapezoidal shape.

From the side, the cars are also very similar, and from this angle you can be convinced that the Almera body is really much longer than the opponent. Both models have a domed roof and stylish wheel arches. From the point of view of aerodynamics, the "Frenchman" has a more optimal body shape.

At the back, the cars are arranged quite normally for the class they represent. And if not for the optics of different design style, they could be confused. By the way, they are equipped with very powerful and reliable bumpers.

What to choose? Due to the fact that the exterior of the Logan is more modern and technologically advanced, we award the victory to the Frenchman in this aspect.

Salon

Comparing the interior of cars, one can immediately identify a clear favorite - of course, this is Renault Logan. This is not to say that the interior of Almera is much worse, it just looks like it is very simple, and to some extent even tasteless. But the Logan salon is decorated in a very progressive and innovative style, and boasts a high level of layout and the presence of bold design solutions.

In the design of the dashboards of both models, you can find common features, but all the same, the console of the "Frenchman" looks more readable and informative. The steering wheel is also more technological at Logan.

In terms of roominess, the Nissan Almera looks more attractive. From the reviews of real owners, we managed to find out that the rear passengers of a Japanese car feel like "kings" and they have where to turn around. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Logan. However, the quality of finishing materials is still better at the "Frenchman".

Price

The average cost on the Russian market is 690 thousand rubles. Nissan Almera will cost about 100 thousand rubles less. However, according to many experts, this is exactly the case when it is best to overpay and get a better car. In addition, Renault Logan has a richer list of basic equipment.
