How can a person become infected with the papilloma virus?

The main routes of transmission of the virus include:

• Household - through shaking hands with an HPV carrier, sharing personal hygiene products and plumbing (soaps, combs, toothbrushes, toilets, sinks);
• Sexual - through sexual contact with an HPV carrier;
