What kind of oil to fill in a honda srv engine. Car oils and everything you need to know about engine oils Honda CRV which oil can be used in the engine

Honda CR-V began its history in 1995 and two years later it was introduced to the domestic market. Constant technical updating of the model maintains the stable popularity of this model among motorists. For all the time, more than 10 types of power plants were produced, adapted to different regional conditions. At the same time, the most unpretentious and reliable engines of this concern are the motors installed in the 1995 - 2002 models.

Much depends on what kind of engine oil to fill in the internal combustion engine. The same lubricant in different engines can show a completely opposite effect, and even cause engine breakdown, in which the permissible parameters differ from the characteristics of the substance being poured. In the rating presented below, you can familiarize yourself with the best products of different brands, which, in terms of their parameters, are suitable for use in Honda CRV motors.

Best synthetic oil for Honda CR-V

Oil in this category compares favorably with other types of engine lubricants, having the best parameters for operation in modern engines. They do an excellent job with oxidative processes, temperature extremes, and harsh operating conditions. They do not age, and during the entire period of use do not lose their qualities, providing engine parts with reliable protection against friction.

5 Eni i-Sint 0w-20

Optimal protection at high loads
Country: Italy
Average price: 1372 rub.
Rating (2019): 4.5

Surprisingly, Eni i-Sint 0w-20 is practically not found on the counterfeit market, and if there is, then their number is at the level of statistical error. At the same time, the motor oil from the Italian concern has a number of characteristics that distinguish the product favorably against the background of competitors. Suffice it to say that the oil price segment is one of the most demanded. At the same time, the conditions in which the engine of the Honda CRV operates do not affect the stability of the lubricant and its viscosity.

Detergents are responsible for the absence of carbon deposits and deposits, and the service life can be easily extended - the oil does not age much longer than standard drain intervals (10 thousand km). Interesting reviews are left by the owners of Honda CR-V who use the product in winter - the launch is not at all complicated by the low temperature. The surface tension of the oil film prevents the lubricant from draining into the sump during standstill. At the time of the factory, all friction pairs are provided with a sufficient amount of engine oil in advance.

4 Motul 8100 Eco-nergy 0W-30

Better oil film strength
Country: France
Average price: 3910 rub.
Rating (2019): 4.6

Motul 8100 Eco-nergy 0W-30 engine oil can be poured into Honda SRV engines, although some users insist on the opposite. There are numerous reviews of the successful use of this product, moreover, those that indicate many years of successful experience in operating motors with this lubricant. The oil perfectly tolerates temperature loads, has high detergent properties and reliably protects parts from friction.

Moreover, this protection is so effective that it literally stops the wear of units exposed to critical loads. It's all about the best surface tension. The oil film is so strong that it does not break under load, and while the engine of the Honda CRV is turned off, it remains on the rubbing parts without flowing into the sump. Needless to say, it makes it easier to start the engine, especially in cold weather. The price, however, bites, but for many Honda CR-V owners who want to increase the engine's resource, such expenses look quite reasonable and reasonable.

3 IDEMITSU Zepro Eco Medalist 0W-20

The most effective additives
Country: Japan
Average price: 2550 rub.
Rating (2019): 4.7

Modern energy-saving oil is perfect for Honda CRV engines of the latest generations with mileage up to 100-150 thousand km and minimal wear. Having become constantly filled with this motor lubricant, the owners noticed a slowdown in the wear processes in the motor. The cylinder-piston group and the camshaft, due to the presence of organic molybdenum in the oil and the high detergent characteristics of the product, received reliable protection against friction, regardless of the nature of operation and the ambient temperature.

In the responses of some Honda SRV owners, conditions for a successful engine start that are beyond the limit for many other oils are indicated (the thermometer dropped to the very bottom, close to -50 ° C!). In addition to the almost perfect adaptation to Russian conditions, this engine oil demonstrates an excellent price advantage over the original lubricant. At the same time, both brands are produced at the same plant in Japan, and in their basic characteristics they differ from each other no more than Siamese twins. In any case, almost none of the Honda CR-V owners who started pouring this engine oil into the engine (we are talking about the original product) were disappointed.

2 MOBIL 1 ESP X2 0W-20

The most economical oil. Manufacturer approved
Country: Finland
Average price: 3245 rub.
Rating (2019): 4.8

A distinctive feature of the oil is a low content of harmful compounds in exhaust gases, which does not lead to contamination of particulate filters. When carrying out routine maintenance on their regeneration, the owner can expect a pleasant surprise - there is no need to clean. This feature of Mobil 1 esp is confirmed by the reviews of the owners of Honda SRV, who witnessed the above fact.

The cleanliness of the lubricating system, of course, will be an order of magnitude higher than the filter, and this does not depend at all on the nature of the engine operation. Engine oil perfectly resists corrosion, oxidative reactions, and practically has no consumption (if only leaks through gaskets and oil seals). Keeping its properties for the entire working period, the lubricant perfectly saves fuel, allowing it to reduce its consumption by a record 2.3% (this figure also depends on the features of operation).

1 HONDA ULTRA LEO 0W20 SN

The API requirements for this grease significantly exceed the oil tolerance for all gasoline engines installed in the Honda CR-V, which means that it can be safely poured into the internal combustion engine of this model with any year of manufacture. Developed specifically for Honda, the grease of the same name is of high quality, has energy-saving properties and provides high-quality lubrication of moving parts of the engine under heavy loads, while reducing fuel consumption.

The minimum proportions of phosphorus and sulphated ash content and high temperature stability prevent oil consumption for waste and the formation of deposits in the lubrication system. The reliability of this product has been confirmed by numerous reviews. They also have a high frost resistance Ultra leo during winter operation, which provides an easy engine start in frosts down to -37 ° С.

The best semi-synthetic oil for Honda CR-V

Recently, this category of oils began to include liquids obtained using the same technology as a fully synthetic product. They have similar performance characteristics, do not age too quickly - in short, they behave like synthetic ones, and at the same time are cheaper. Of course, there are differences, but they are so insignificant that they make it possible to successfully use this grease in modern cars, including the Honda CR-V.

5 ENEOS Super Gasoline SL 5W-30

Best price
Country: Japan (produced in South Korea)
Average price: 1350 rubles.
Rating (2019): 4.5

Nice value for Honda CR-V owners is far from a compelling reason to choose. Although this, of course, matters, especially for car owners who have run hundreds of thousands. The reason that forced this oil to be poured again and again into Honda CRV engines is the stability and resistance to temperature extremes, enviable for many competitors. This does not go unnoticed, especially for motors operating in urban environments.

The reviews noted such positive changes in engine operation as reducing noise and vibrations, increasing acceleration dynamics, and even efficiency. In many respects, these changes, wonderful for worn-out aggregates, are due to the better surface tension of the film and molybdenum disulfide. The first provides the best conditions for starting the engine, and the second eliminates rough wear marks, filling the appearing scuffs and depletion in friction pairs. The choice in favor of ENEOS Super engine oil, according to those who made such a decision, was generously rewarded with an extended engine life.

4 SHELL Helix HX7 5W-30

Excellent aging resistance
Country: Netherlands
Average price: 1421 rub.
Rating (2019): 4.6

The oil is very popular in the domestic market, and it can be poured into Honda CR-V engines of previous generations with decent mileage. However, there are also limitations - it is necessary to have firm confidence in the originality of the product, since there are counterfeit products on the market, and in a fairly serious amount. Fake oil can be purchased even in a large retail chain (there are reviews with such a sad experience) - in this case, the vendors were let down by the supplier.

SHELL Helix HX7 5W-30 natural grease does not age ahead of time, and can reliably serve for engine lubrication for up to 6.5-7 thousand km. During operation, carbon deposits do not form, and the oil film reliably protects the parts in any operating modes, and there is confirmation of this in the reviews of the owners. City traffic jams or high-speed driving when using Helix HX7 do not harm the motor at all. The main thing is timely replacement.

3 MOBIS PREMIUM GASOLINE 5W-20

Temperature stability
Country: South Korea
Average price: 1,355 rubles.
Rating (2019): 4.7

Designed for South Korean cars, this oil can be easily used in Honda CRV engines, which have a variable valve timing (VTC) system. By the way, even in the very first generations of this model, the K20 and K24 engines were installed, which already had this system. The high-quality base base and modern highly active additive components are perfectly suited for modern energy-intensive engines, having increased resistance to temperature loads.

The energy-saving properties of this oil provide more economical operation, reducing not only fuel consumption, but also the lubricant itself, which lasts until the next change without refilling. Most of the reviews characterize Mobis premium on the positive side. The oil copes well with any operational loads, has good fluidity, a long operating cycle and has proven to be a very frost-resistant lubricant, providing an easy engine start in severe frosts.

2 LIQUI MOLY Special Tec AA 5W-30

The most reliable motor protection
Country: Germany
Average price: 2707 rubles.
Rating (2019): 4.7

One of the few engine oils recommended for use in engines of Asian cars, and Honda SRV belongs to this category. Deep distillation allowed achieving ideal base base cleanliness, comparable to more expensive synthetics. The best ability of the product to suppress oxidative processes prevents the formation of deposits in the engine, and the detergent components effectively dissolve existing sludge or varnish deposits.

If you fill in the Honda CRV Special Tec AA engine on an ongoing basis (it can be used all year round, with the exception of regions with the most severe winters), reliable protection against friction will be provided. Judging by the reviews, there is a decrease in noise and vibration, and a stable viscosity in all operating modes ensures a careful use of the engine resource. It is also noted that the properties of engine oil are retained throughout the entire operating cycle - it does not age before replacement.

1 HONDA ULTRA LTD 5W30 SN

Wide operating temperature range. Reliable friction protection
Country: Japan
Average price: 2970 rubles.
Rating (2019): 4.9

Obtained using hydrocracking technology, this motor oil differs little from pure synthetics, but has a slightly higher viscosity. This is the best fit for Honda CR-V engines that have high mileage and, therefore, engine wear to varying degrees.

The manufacturer guarantees high performance of the grease in any temperature conditions, which allows it to be used throughout the year. With its significant detergent effect, engine oil maintains the internal cleanliness of the engine. At the same time, a pronounced viscosity stability is manifested, which provides a dense oil film on rubbing engine parts. Even when the engine is idle, this film does not break down, and provides lubrication to the rubbing surfaces in the first seconds after starting, until pressure appears in the system.

So where does engine care begin? With oil change. Since we are dealing with revving engines, the oil change period usual for other cars - 10,000 km - has been reduced to 7-8 thousand kilometers. This is what the Honda manufacturers themselves recommend. some oil manufacturers assure that only their oil can protect the engine up to 40,000 km without loss of properties. But this is not true, since the aging process of the oil has not been canceled - even the most expensive oil completely loses its lubricating properties for about 15,000 km.

Which oil should you choose for your Honda vehicle? The manufacturer, for a belt engine, recommends oil of the SL / SM / SJ class with parameters 5w30, 10w30, and for a chain engine - 0w20. What do these numbers mean? So, the first number - 5 (10, 0) - is an indicator of the viscosity of the oil at cold temperatures. The lower the first digit, the more fluid the oil will be at negative temperatures. For example, if the 10w30 oil begins to thicken, and as a result, lose its properties at a temperature of -35 C0, then with 0w20 this will happen already at -43 ... -45 C0.

The most optimal choice for a car operated in Russia will be oil with an index of 5w ... for belt engines and 0w ... for chain engines. The use of oil with an index of 0w ... for belt motors will do more harm than good. The reason is that the viscosity of this oil is very low initially - and in a hot and revving Honda engine, it will not always be able to create a sufficiently strong oil film on the rubbing surface. 5w30 (5w40) is the most suitable oil for such engines. The second digit (number) of the index indicates the viscosity of the oil in a hot environment. The higher the number, the higher the temperature at which the oil does not lose its viscosity. Here the indicators can be very arbitrary. You just need to remember one rule - the less engine wear, the more correctly it is to choose the oil recommended by the manufacturer. So, for example, with runs up to 100,000 km, you can safely fill the engine with the 5w30 or 0w20 oil recommended by the manufacturer.
With a mileage of more than 100,000 km, micro gaps and depletions appear in the engine, and then it makes sense to fill in oil with a higher second indicator, for example 5w40, or 0w30, and so on. At low mileage, taking oil with a higher second indicator - the actual overpayment of money - will not be of any particular benefit to the car.

Which oil manufacturer should you prefer? Since 2007, Honda has officially recommended for its engines oil produced by the Exxon-Mobil concern, - Mobil 1. Despite the fact that there are a huge number of oil manufacturers on the market, among which there are such famous ones as Castrol, Shell, BP, Chevron, Texaco, LiquiMoly , we would not recommend deviating from the manufacturer's recommendation. The fact is that even the budgetary representative of Exxon-Mobil ESSO oil is not stable in a Honda engine. Tests have shown that Castrol and Shell oils have a very high percentage of waste in Honda engines. Oils manufactured by Chevron, Eneos have a lower percentage of waste, but at the same time they leave varnish deposits in the engine. Korean oils ZIC and Dragon are more stable in terms of burnout and varnish deposits, but, unfortunately, have very little resistance to aging processes. An oil change of 5,000 km has a significant effect on engine performance for the better. LiquiMoly oils showed excellent results at the end of the tests, in many ways exceeding the original requirements. BP, Texaco oils have not been tested, so we cannot say anything about them. The use of oils from Russian manufacturers in Honda is highly undesirable. The reason for this is the high percentage of waste, deposits and coke. This does not indicate the low quality of the oil, but about its incompatibility with Honda engines.

... engine up to 100,000 km, belt - 5w30 (5w40). Manufacturer: Honda (original), Mobil 1, LiquiMoly

Engine over 100,000 km, belt - 5w40 (5w50). Manufacturer: Honda (original), Mobil 1, LiquiMoly

Engine up to 100,000 km, chain - 0w20. Manufacturer: Honda (original)

Engine over 100,000 km, chain - 0w30 (0w40). Manufacturer: Mobil 1, LiquiMoly.

I would like to make a reservation right away that these parameters are not the ultimate truth, but it would be most correct to adhere to them if we are talking about a car with "honest" mileage, which is under the supervision of competent craftsmen. Timely and correctly carried out oil change significantly extends the life of the Honda engine.

The next item we would like to consider is the oil filter. There are many manufacturers of oil filters for Honda on the market, but in principle, if you do not consider such rare models as S2000, NSX, and Legend, on all Honda, since 1992, oil filters of two types 15400-PLC (RTA, PLM) are installed - ***, and 15400-PR3 - ***. The seats for both filters are absolutely the same, their differences lie in the shape of the filter housing itself - the first are more elongated and narrower, the second, on the contrary, are shorter and wider. The quality of the original filters may also vary slightly from each other. For example, RTA filters differ for the better from PLCs, and those, in turn, from PLM. But this does not mean that the 15400-PLM-A01 filter is the worst filter. For example, it is much better than any duplicate filter. When changing the oil in Honda, it is better not to save money and put the original filter, which will not allow forcing due to a jammed valve in the cold, and will not leak, ensuring an even fit over the entire area.

How to choose the right motor oil for honda? The manufacturer himself, most often, if the question concerns a belt motor, recommends oil of the SL / SM / SJ class with parameters 5w30, 10w30, and 0w20, 5w20 if we are talking about a chain motor. What do these numbers mean?

So, the first number is 5 (10, 0), this is an indicator of the viscosity of the oil at cold temperatures. The lower the first digit, the more fluid the oil will be at negative temperatures. For example, if the 10w30 oil begins to thicken, and as a result, lose its properties at a temperature of -35 C0, then from 0w20 this will happen already at -43 ... -45 C 0. The most optimal choice for a car operated in Russia will be oil with an index of 5w ... for belt engines and 0w ... for chain engines.

So, for example, with runs up to 100,000 km, you can safely fill the engine with a 5w30 or 0w20 recommended by the manufacturer. With a greater mileage, when micro gaps and workings appear in the engine, it makes sense for a belt engine to fill in oil with a higher second indicator, for example 5w40, but for a chain engine, you will need to continue pouring 0w20 5w20. The reason for this is the design feature of the chain motors. This applies mainly to the K-series engines.

Equally important is the choice of the oil manufacturer. Since 2007 Honda Japan officially recommends Exxon-Mobil oil for its engines - Mobil 1. This is the official recommendation for Japan. If this tells you something, you can safely stick to it. I would only like to note that Mobil 1 for the Japanese market differs slightly in the level of overall product quality due to the use of more promising lines in the Japanese market. Also, it should be remembered that the recommended Honda Mobil 1 in the Japanese market is more expensive than the most expensive fully synthetic Honda Gold oil, which is not very popular in the Russian market due to its high cost.

Honda engine oil tests carried out in 2007 showed that Castrol and Shell oils have a very high percentage of waste in Honda engines. An oil change of 5000 km has a significant effect on engine performance for the better.

This is not to say about the low quality of the oil, it demonstrates its incompatibility with Honda engines.

Speaking specifically about what kind of oil you can fill in Honda, we would recommend adhering to the following points:

Engine up to 100,000 km, belt - 5w30 (5w40). Manufacturer: Honda (original), Mobil 1, LiquiMoly

Engine over 100,000 km, belt - 5w40. Manufacturer: Honda (original), Mobil 1, LiquiMoly

Engine up to 100,000 km, chain - 0w20, 5w20. Manufacturer: Honda (original)

Engine over 100,000 km, chain - 0w20, 5w20. Manufacturer: Honda (original).

I would like to make a reservation right away that these parameters are not the ultimate truth, but it would be most correct to adhere to them if we are talking about a car with "honest" mileage, which is under the supervision of competent craftsmen. Unfortunately, one often hears accusations from a person of bias towards manufacturers - some say they changed everything in time and used what they were told, and everything died, others poured all their lives “whatever was wrong” and everything works perfectly ... What can I say? Apparently, there is such a thing as "the individual characteristics of the car." On average, a timely and competent oil change significantly extends the life of a Honda engine. This is fact number two.

Good day to all! Today I would like to talk about genuine Honda oils. It's no secret that in most car stores you can buy both transmission and original Honda engine oils. Yes, you can count the assortment of original Honda oils on your fingers, but let's try to figure out a little "where the legs grow from".

So what is being sold to us under the beautiful name "Genuine Honda Oil"? Honda's range of engine oils is not that wide. All Honda engine oils are presented by only a few models: Japanese, and, Honda Ultra GOLD SN 5W40, as well as American and European, 5W40, 10W30. This is the entire range of motor oils that I have ever met, seen, touched and sold. Now in order! In this article, we will take a closer look at motor oil.

Jerrycan Honda Ultra LEO SN 0W20

At the time of this writing (and this is January 2015), oil is supplied to the Russian market in a light blue metal 4 liter canister. The canister can be seen in the photo below. The average price is 2100-2500 rubles, which is quite acceptable. Original number (article) 08217-99974. Weight: 4.120 kg. Dimensions: 17 x 10 x 24 cm. The front side of the canister bears the HONDA inscription and the company logo. Slightly below the full name of ULTRA LEO MOTOR OIL is applied, and even lower are the characteristics of SN, SAE 0W20, API SN / ILSAC GF-5. The batch number and production date are printed on the top of the package.

Let's understand what these symbols mean. HONDA is the name of the oil, Ultra Leo Motor Oil is the model of the engine oil. 0W-20 - oil viscosity (0 - in normal condition, 20 - on a warm engine), API SN - engine oil class. Today, the SN class is the latest class of motor oils, which is also the most severe. Oils that meet this class must fulfill a number of requirements. First, they must be energy efficient. Secondly, to have wear-resistant qualities. Thirdly, to extend the life of the engine. API SN class was introduced at the end of 2010. And since that time, all Honda engine oils are produced with these requirements in mind. The ILSAC GF-5 specification is also common to all original Honda fluids. ILSAC GF-5 was also adopted at the end of 2010 and is the most recent today. The ILSAC GF-5 requirements practically do not differ from the requirements for the API SN class, so we will not dwell on them in detail.

Oil manufacturer Honda Ultra LEO SN 0W20

Now let's see what manufacturers and marketers say about this oil. As you noticed, I have never mentioned the manufacturer of Honda Ultra Leo CH 0v20 oil. I rummaged through a lot of information before getting to the bottom of it. Most online stores selling such oil do not even think about the manufacturer. Who has what is written. I met a huge amount of heresy that Honda Ultra Leo oil is produced by Mobil, Honda, and Idemitsu. These are still the most adequate options, but far from the most important. It is even worse. Honda has never made HONDA oil! Manufacturers only select the most suitable oil for their vehicles and recommend them. Motor oil Honda Ultra Leo 0W20 SN is produced by the company JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation, which in turn is the manufacturer of ENEOS oils. So we figured it out!

Description of goods from the manufacturer

Now let's take a look at what marketers are saying about this oil. Here is a verbatim description that I have come across on almost all sites: Honda Ultra Leo SN 0W20 is a high quality synthetic multigrade energy saving engine oil for Honda gasoline engines. Provides outstanding fuel economy, excellent low temperature performance and high antioxidant properties for Japanese car engines. Recommended by the manufacturer for Honda vehicles since 2000. Fits into most new Honda vehicles.

In general, there are no complaints about the description. Everything is written quite truthfully, only written by marketers, and then borrowed by most stores. Judging by the description and SN class, everything should fit. And energy saving, and fuel economy, and "long happy life of the engine." Judging by the viscosity of the oil, even in cold weather the car should start easily and naturally. But what do the tests show?

Physical and chemical test of Honda Ultra LEO SN 0W20 oil.

The tests were carried out by an independent laboratory "CHEMMOTOLOGY". Below are the corresponding figures.

1. Density of oil at 20C, kg / m3: 840
2. Kinematic viscosity of oil at 40C, cSt: 39.59
3. Kinematic viscosity of the oil product at 100C, cSt: 7.62
4. Apparent (dynamic) viscosity, determined on a cold rolling simulator (CCS), at -30C, mPa * s (cP): 3651
5. Base number, mg KOH / g: 6.49
6. Sulphated ash content,%: 0.87
7. Mass fraction of phosphorus,%: 0.053
8. Flash point of oil in an open crucible, С: 225

I would like to draw your attention to just a few parameters from this table. Density and viscosity - the parameters are understandable and I think it's not worth explaining what they mean. Flash point is the temperature at which the oil ignites. But the most interesting parameters are ash content and phosphorus content. These are the values that should be kept as low as possible. In this particular case, 0.87% and 0.053% are very much even within the normal range. If these indicators are higher, then harmful deposits will begin to form in the oil, which will eventually "kill" the engine. But the base number of 6.49 mg KOH / g is slightly low. This parameter means that the oil contains additives that neutralize various acids, harmful formations, etc. But we must remember that the oil was developed for the Japanese market, and there gasoline is much better than our Russian one, so the alkaline number should be in the range of 8-9 units. This is not critical, of course, but still worth paying attention to.

And for skeptics, I also attach to the text the original laboratory tests of Honda Ultra Leo SN 0W20 oil. Please note that the examination was done by an independent laboratory, stamped and signed. I want to say that it makes no sense for them to overestimate or underestimate the real quality of the oil.

And the most interesting thing is that there is also a declaration of conformity of products. The original was not found, but there is a good quality scan.

Below is a list of Honda vehicles in which the manufacturer recommends the use of engine oil Honda Ultra Leo SN 0W20... If your car is not on the list and you are in doubt whether such an oil is suitable, then it is better to look at these data in the owner's manual or just call us at 600-042!

I have a question. I come to the store, and they shove me the first thing on the shelf. They say that this oil will suit you. I would like to learn how to navigate in oils myself. How to choose the right engine oil for a Honda Civic?
(Belyalov Reshat)

The operation of engines of certain brands of cars with the same brands of oils may differ. Some motors respond well to certain oils, while others show less comforting results.

When choosing an oil for Honda cars, it is worth noting important criteria. The manufacturer himself recommends the classes of liquids SL, SJ, SM. Each lubricating fluid meets certain parameters. The manufacturing plant Honda recommends using engine oils with viscosity parameters 0w20, 5w20, 5w30 and 10w30 for its engines. Let's take a closer look at what each of the parameters means.

In the inscription 5w20 - the first number "5" is an indicator of the viscosity of the oil in frosty weather. The lower this figure, the greater the fluidity of the liquid in negative temperature conditions. For comparison: oils with 0w20 indicators begin to thicken at temperatures from -42 to -45C 0. The same thing happens with liquids that have indicators of 10w30 at temperatures from -35 C 0. When a lubricant thickens, it loses its performance properties.

The second digit "20" defines the oil viscosity at high temperatures. The higher the number, the higher the temperature at which the oil viscosity remains normalized.

Honda also depends on engine wear. For engines whose mileage has not yet exceeded the milestone of 100,000 kilometers, it is still worth filling in oils with the parameters recommended by the manufacturer - 5w30 or 0w20. For engines that have exceeded this milestone, it is better to pour oils with a higher second parameter, for example, 5w40.

However, this applies to engines working with a timing belt. For chain construction, they remain relevant even at high mileage.

An important reason why certain brands of motors do not work with Hondas is burnout.

Flammable liquids include Shell, Castrol, domestic oils. Not because they are of poor quality, but precisely because of the high percentages of waste in Honda engines. Mobil 1 and LiquiMoly oils had the highest compatibility rates.

One of the options for a careful selection of engine oils for Honda cars is to consult a specialist who conducts technical diagnostics of your car. And you can also check the data with an authorized dealer of your brand.
