We continue our photo-report on noise insulation of two new products from AvtoVAZ. In the first part, we wrote about the most modern and effective way of insulation of the Lada Vesta car. Now consider the option installed on a new Xray.


A big problem in the cars of this class is the poor soundproofing of the engine noise. This problem did not go around the new Xray. The engine is buzzing with terrible force. It is impossible to talk or listen to music. On acceleration, we get just incredible averages - 78 dB.


To insulate sound from the motor, the front panel was insulated. The front panel on this car our masters first disassembled and coped with the task of "excellent." The test race has shown that the front panel isolation gave a very tangible reduction of noise from the motor. The client remained very pleased with the result.
