Customer Reviews

I ordered a 5.0 l Eco bowl. I didn’t think that for such a price you would get saucepans of the proper quality: good quality, thick, neatly made. The pans are suitable for both of my multicookers: Redmond RMC M90 and Polaris PMC 0517AD. They fit like a glove. It’s been a month since I abandoned my original saucepan, which, no matter how carefully I handled it with a SILICONE ladle, became unusable after about six months. Suspecting that this is due to the fact that we often cook baked milk in a saucepan on the multicook program for 5 hours, and also leave the porridge on the heat so that it has the taste of baked milk. Yes, and you have to cook other dishes in a slow cooker every day. An aluminum pan is a real lifesaver. I prepared a HOT DISH - took the bowl IMMEDIATELY OUTSIDE THE COLD to cool, poured it, etc. I would also like to note that the bowl is just as easy to clean as a new ceramic one, and at the same time I am not afraid to rub the bottom of it, if necessary, with a sponge, but this cannot be done with a ceramic bowl. I'm very pleased! It's a pleasure to deal with professionals!

Last week I received an Anthracite bowl for my Panasonic-181 with a capacity of 4.5 liters. Fits perfectly. The test passed with a bang. She cooks very well, no worse than her own, and maybe even tastier. I am very pleased. Special thanks to Alexey, who contacted me by phone and advised me, and then accepted the order. The parcel arrived very well. Well done to the employees who package the products so well, because... The post office doesn't really stand on ceremony with parcels. I wish your company prosperity. A huge, huge THANK YOU. God bless you!

Thank you very much for the bowls!
I bought Eco 4+ l for the Philips HD 2173 multi-pressure cooker. It fit perfectly! The lid fits perfectly and now I am not afraid of scratching the Teflon coating. I cook beef on the bone without fear, I will also cook New Year’s jellied meat in it. I'm very pleased.

I took the second bowl for the Lentel KF A40 multicooker, and chose the Classic 4 l.
I really doubted whether it would fit into the cartoon, because... I couldn’t try on my own cup properly, I was afraid that it wouldn’t fit. But everything worked out great! The lid closes tightly and the bowl goes in.
The coating is black inside, at first it didn’t inspire confidence for some reason, I was scared by the fact that it was rough. But everything turned out great. It is 100% non-stick. I fried chicken with mushrooms in it, nothing burned, the bowl was easy to clean.

I would like to express my gratitude to the store consultant Alexey for his help in choosing and prompt dispatch. The bowls were packaged securely and arrived in good condition.

Today I received a 4l "Eco" bowl. for the multicooker "Maruchi 47" and immediately tested it as expected according to the recommendation. The bowl fit perfectly, was made beautifully and of high quality. Delivered by mail in good packaging on time. Thank you very much and prosperity in such a necessary production!

I received the parcel, thank you very much!
I ordered two bowls: Eco and Kerama. I was pleased with the packaging, the bowls arrived in perfect condition, special thanks!
In a sense, I bought it at my own peril and risk; my Vitesse VS-576 multicooker model was not in the bowl matching table, I chose it by size.
As a result, the 4-liter bowls turned out to be just what we needed! The bowl fits into the multicooker as if it were original, the lid closes, no problems.
In appearance, the NEK bowl looks better than the original one, with a heavier bottom and generally looks more solid. I am very pleased, thank you very much!
You can safely add the VS-576 model to the compatibility table.

I ordered 5 l. bowl for multicooker Unit 1050D. The difference is immediately visible. The original bowl turned out to be much worse; sometimes it even burned if it was stewed or fried for a long time. Nothing sticks in the new bowl, the coating is excellent! At first I wanted to be upset that the bowl was a little larger, since the multicooker did not want to close, but I pressed a little harder and everything fell into place. Now I cook with even more pleasure! Thank you very much for that!!!

They did the calculations and shed tears. Over several years of constant testing of multicookers for the magazine “CONSUMER. Household Appliances” my colleagues and I cooked in more than 25 different models. So we absolutely know about them, if not everything, then a lot, and we will help you choose a worthy device. Even if they show you the same multicooker on TV and say that it is the best.

TEXT: Polina STRIZHAK

WHY NO PRESSURE?

You're not in a hurry, you don't need to urgently cook tongue, beets or hard beans in 30 minutes, and in general it's scary to deal with pressure cookers? Then your option is a multicooker without pressure cooking capabilities. Such devices cost one and a half to two, or even three times less than multicookers.

PROGRAMS AND FUNCTIONS

All multicookers can cook cereals, porridges in water (we’ll talk about dairy ones separately), soups (without first frying the ingredients in the appliance’s bowl), steam (for this there is always a steamer container included), and stew. If this is all you need from a multicooker, you can safely buy the most inexpensive model of any capacity. We will not occupy your attention with a description of these programs; we will focus on the more important ones.

FRYING, ROASTING, CRISPY, FRYING

The presence of a frying or frying program indicates that the device is quite powerful (800 - 1100 W) and will give the user much more opportunities for culinary creativity. Quickly fry meat, sauté vegetables for pilaf or soup, bake - all this is possible in a high-power multicooker.

In some cases, there is no frying program, but the seller (or manufacturer) claims that you can fry in any program - for example, instant cooking or steam.

In this case, look at 2 parameters: 1) the power of the multicooker (it is always written in the instructions and on the bottom of the device itself, the range is approximately 600 - 980 W); 2) the presence of a baking program (it can be called “cupcake”, “pie”, etc.).

A device with a maximum power of less than 750-800 W will not be able to fry anything - our tests revealed this, and we can say this with confidence. Of course, if you keep a chicken leg in a bowl for 45-50 minutes, it will cook, but there will be no golden brown crust, the vegetables will simply simmer, lose their juices, but will not fry properly and will not “seal” their flavors in the oil and crust.

The presence of a baking program in the appliance menu is a guarantee that at least one of these programs will work if there is no water in the bowl and you can fry in it.

The fact is that many devices with low power (especially those hastily converted from rice cookers) have a special steam sensor that protects the multicooker from overheating and burning of products during cooking: as soon as it determines that all the liquid has evaporated and steam no longer comes with the required pressure , the program is disabled. This means that you can neither bake nor fry (cooking methods without water) in such an appliance, as, for example, in the MYSTERYMCM-1010 model.

If you like fries, it is logical to choose a model with deep frying capabilities. To do this, the device must be equipped with a deep frying basket, and the maximum cooking temperature in the multicooker must be 250ºС - this is the boiling point of vegetable oil (for example, some models Sinbo, Maruchi, Hotter).

CAKE, PIE, BAKED

High power, ability to adjust time in this program. Availability of moisture container.

Power up to 700 W, fixed cooking time.

The baking program (pie, cupcake) does not work the same in all devices; you need to know some nuances. Let's start with the fact that devices with a power of 600-650 W simply do not bake anything; the power should be higher.

You can still bake in such multicookers - we found this out while testing some models with low power and a baking program, for example Supra MCS-4511. But you will have to bake in the program not for baking, but for fast cooking (fastcook, express and similar names), since in them the device operates at maximum power.

The catch is that this program, designed for 20-30 minutes, will have to be turned on 2-3 times and monitor the process. This is better than nothing if you don’t have an oven and want charlotte, but the method is inconvenient.

In addition, in multicookers with good power and a normally functioning baking program, you will never get a golden-brown top crust of the pie, because, alas, heating elements are not built into the lid. Housewives find a way out - they turn pies and cupcakes over with the rosy bottoms facing up.

In general, a multicooker is not suitable for every type of dough - heavy butter dough bakes worse than biscuits and cottage cheese casseroles. In a baking program, in addition to its combination with good power of the appliance, it is important to be able to adjust it according to time.

Baking in a multicooker usually occurs at a lower temperature than in an oven - not 180, but approximately 140ºC and lasts longer, so in devices with an automatic program designed for 50 minutes, you usually have to turn on the program again and Make sure to turn it off in time, as a repeat cycle of 50 minutes will be too much.

Among the design features, it is worth paying attention to the presence of a small moisture collector container into which condensate drains. If there is none, excess moisture may accumulate on the inside of the lid and drip into the center of the crust or pie.

DOES A MULTICOOKER REPLACE A BREAD MAKER?

We are often asked whether it is possible to bake bread in a slow cooker. Our opinion: yes, if the slow cooker is powerful and provided you have a good stand mixer, food processor or kitchen machine for kneading heavy bread dough.

If you decide to bake bread in a slow cooker, be prepared for two things: manual preparation of the dough and the need to turn the bread at the end of baking, which will result in a flatter bread, but otherwise the top will not cook.

The prepared dough ball can go through the stage of ripening the yeast dough in the “Yoghurt” program, if there is one, there is just the right temperature (37-40ºC).

Sometimes a warm-up program is suitable for this, provided that the temperature in it is regulated or there is a manual mode with a temperature setting in the region of 37-40ºС. But, of course, we are not talking about any fully automated process, like in a bread machine.

MILK PORRIDGE

The existence of such a program as such. If it is not there, then it is possible to adjust the temperature manually.

Some multicookers for milk porridges have a separate program (or programs); immediately after the milk boils, the temperature in the bowl drops, and the porridge simmers, but the milk does not escape.

All devices with such a program that came to us for testing showed themselves to be very good, but you can still pour milk to a maximum of ½ the volume of the bowl, which is usually prescribed in the instructions. As a rule, the “Oatmeal” or “Porridge” programs have the same heating algorithm, since it is this cereal that can cause a small eruption of porridge from the multicooker.

If there is no such program, this does not mean that you cannot cook milk porridge - it just may work better in the slow cooking or stewing program, where the temperature drops after boiling. And if it is possible to adjust the temperature, as in many Philips and Brand models, then there will be no problems.

YOGURT

Not only yogurt, but also resting the dough; it is advisable to have special containers for yogurt included.

The condition for fermenting milk and turning it into yogurt is a constant temperature of 37-40ºС. This is exactly what the named program supports, and no other can cope with this; you should not believe those who say that you can prepare yogurt in the “Warming” or “Warming” program.

In these programs, the temperature is approximately 70ºC, so you will be provided with lumps of curdled mass; all you have to do is hang it in gauze and prepare the cottage cheese the old fashioned way. Which, of course, is also good, but does not replace yogurt. “Yoghurt” is the only program after which the multicooker should not switch to heating mode, but in some older models this is not taken into account; it is worth checking when purchasing.

In some models, multicookers have 2 programs for preparing yogurt: with and without boiling, as, for example, in Brand 502, this is convenient if you buy unsterilized milk.

RICE, RICE, MORE RICE

Diet food, the ability to professionally prepare rice for sushi.

Since multicookers came to us from Asia, they can contain several programs for cooking rice - for different types of rice (long grain, short grain, wild, dark), for sushi rice, rice with a crust (toasted rice - when at the end of cooking the temperature rises and the rice is fried from below, as they like to cook in China).

Within these programs, there may be additional settings for different degrees of readiness (crumbly, soft, firm “al dente”). In the instructions for such models, 70% of the volume is allocated to rice programs. What does this mean? Yes, that in front of you is a rice cooker, which for Russia was renamed a multicooker.

All types of cereals will turn out great in this one, not only rice, but also buckwheat, millet, and pearl barley. Just when buying such a device, be careful that there are also other programs - for example, baking, frying and making yogurt.

HOW MANY PROGRAMS ARE THERE?

Programs different in time and temperature. Names of programs by functionality: frying, baking, stewing.

The names of programs based only on the names of the dishes (“Pasta”, “Morse”, “Pilaf”) are most often bait for the buyer, then you will have to empirically find out in which program what to cook.

Never look at the total number of programs as a sign of functionality and quality. There may be 8, 10 or 12, but this does not mean that they are not duplicated. There are models where a large number of programs is just a smart PR move. It is easy to understand that programs are duplicated: they will have the same default operating time and the same temperature. This information is included in the instructions, which are often available on the Internet.

CONTROL

Russified control panel, large symbols, convenient time intervals, temperature settings, saving settings in case of power failure, 24-hour timer.

English-language control panel, small characters, dark display, 12-hour timer.

The control panel can be push-button without a display - in this case, make sure that the symbols are clear: words in Russian or large, intuitive symbols.

This panel is convenient for older users. If you choose a model with a display, ask to turn on the device and evaluate the brightness and clarity of the display and the letters on it. A control panel with a display is available on models that have more capabilities, programs and functions. Such devices are convenient for those who are accustomed to gadgets with extensive control menus, but they are difficult for older people to use.

This year, the market has been replenished with multicookers without pressure, but with voice control (previously, voice guides could only be found in expensive Korean models, for example, Cuckoo and Element). This is, for example, the ViTESSE VS-3009 model.

You should not “peck” at the bait of “touch controls”. In multicookers for 3-4 thousand rubles, these are just ordinary buttons, “rolled up” under film.

The inability to adjust the temperature in multicookers will soon be considered bad manners. Multicookers with this technology have already appeared (these are models from Philips and Brand, and their prices are sometimes lower than some models without this technology), and it’s time for other manufacturers to catch up.

Sometimes there are very inconvenient ways to set the cooking time: only in minutes, for example, and then, to set 1 hour, you will have to press the button 60 times; or in tenths of an hour: for example, 0.5 and 0.6 hours (like the RolsenRMC-5077), and then to calculate the required interval you will have to remember arithmetic. Not all models retain settings (program, cooking time and temperature) in the event of a power failure.

Meanwhile, this parameter is important, especially if the multicooker is purchased for a summer residence. It will be a shame if the program goes wrong and you have to turn it on again: after all, then the sequence of temperature conditions will be disrupted and the dish may suffer. This parameter can generally be checked directly in the store: ask the seller to demonstrate choosing a program and turning it off. Turn it on again and make sure that the settings are not lost.

Clock: it is more convenient if it is 24-hour rather than 12-hour and does not go astray when the power is turned off (for this, it must be battery-powered, check when purchasing).

The delayed start function allows you to get the finished dish at a certain time. The maximum delay time may differ for different models: 8, 10, 12,13 or 24 hours.

This is of no fundamental importance, since in 24 hours the products will simply spoil; such a delay time is not used in practice; 8-10 hours is quite enough. As a rule, food is laid either in the morning, so that there will be dinner when you come home from work, or in the evening, so that you can have hot porridge for breakfast.

DESIGN

Removable inner lid, moisture collector, thick-walled bowl.

The coating of the bowls can be simply Teflon or ceramic, both of them took part in our tests, we had no complaints about the quality of the coatings, we did not notice much of a difference.

But the general appearance and heaviness of the bowl speaks volumes about its quality as a whole: the thicker and heavier it is, the better it will play the role of a cast iron pot from a Russian stove, in which everything turns out so tasty and aromatic. Many multicookers do not have internal lids that can be removed - but in vain, it would be better to be able to wash them.

WHERE TO BUY A MULTICOOKER

Specialized stores of electronics and household appliances, where the assortment is constantly updated and there is less risk of buying an outdated model without Russian-language controls, without programs for preparing yogurt, frying, and baking that have already become good form.

In addition, there you can see different devices and compare them - at least evaluate the control panel, design and build quality: are there any “burrs” on the plastic, are there any foreign odors from the silicone seal, is the bowl made of “foil”.

Online resources of manufacturers: as a rule, the goods are released from the warehouse, there are no extra charges for renting premises, there are certain guarantees of quality and that the goods are not “gray”.

TV stores inflate prices for multicookers by almost two or three times, positioning them as miracle devices.

Some online stores unjustifiably raise prices on very popular models: for example, Panasonic.

Hypermarkets are flooded with low-quality and frankly outdated appliances at bargain prices. Since a multicooker is an appliance for daily use (many people buy it not as an addition, but as an alternative to a stove), it is important to make sure that it will be convenient for you to use.

It is still not uncommon for English-language management to show outright disrespect for the consumer. It is worth making sure that your visual acuity allows you to use the display. It happens that the screen is not backlit, and the program selection arrow is so small that it cannot be seen, for example, by older people, who usually suffer from farsightedness.

But a multicooker is often bought as a gift to mothers, mothers-in-law and mothers-in-law who dream of it. At the same time, multicookers “for young, healthy people with knowledge of English” are no cheaper, and often more expensive, than Russified models with an easy-to-read display.

Conclusion: you need to “touch” the device in person at least once in a store, and then “monitor” prices on the Internet and order there if buying there turns out to be more profitable.

It is perhaps difficult to imagine any modern kitchen without such a miracle of household appliances as a device for preparing culinary masterpieces - a multicooker, or pressure cooker. This kitchen assistant can create almost any tasty and nutritious dish using any cooking method. Typically, multicookers from well-known companies are equipped with several operating modes, due to which the cooking process becomes more economical in terms of time and effort, which greatly facilitates the work of any housewife, and therefore a high-quality multicooker can be safely purchased as a gift. The main thing is not to get confused by the widest range of these household appliances offered by various manufacturers, and choose the one that is right for you.

How to choose a multicooker?

To choose the right multicooker, you need to pay attention to the following criteria: the volume and quality of the bowl coating, power, functionality and operating modes, as well as the body material (metal is much more durable than plastic, and preference should be given to aluminum alloy) and safety (the device must have a long cord , securely attached to the body, a smooth steam release system and a leak-proof valve).

Multicooker bowl volume

The volumes of multicookers offered by manufacturers range from 2 to 6 liters, but the optimal volume for an average family of four is 3–4 liters. Large devices are more expensive and consume more electricity, so buying a larger device is only advisable if you like to frequently receive guests or have a large family.

Covering the multicooker bowl

The following types of coatings exist:
  • Teflon. Like non-stick frying pans, multicookers with a similar coating need to be handled with care, because damaged Teflon is unsafe for health;
  • ceramic. It is more environmentally friendly than Teflon, but wears out faster, may suffer from temperature changes and become stained by fruit or vegetable juice, etc.;
  • marble. This is the most preferred coating option - the most durable, practical and safe.

Multicooker power

The speed of cooking directly depends on it. The average power of a standard multicooker model is 600–800 W. Economically, this is a completely justified figure if we are talking about a small family. A more powerful device, of course, will prepare dishes faster, but it will also cost more and be more expensive to operate.

Multicooker functions

Different models of appliances from different manufacturers may have different sets of functions, but the point of having them is one – to save time and simplify the process of cooking.

If you have planned to prepare some special delicacy for the holiday table, the option to set the operating mode and timer will help you with this. A timer is also necessary if delayed cooking is required (up to 12 hours). No careful control is required during the operation of the multicooker: the smart device will cook everything itself and even automatically switch to the mode of automatically maintaining a certain temperature of the finished dish.

It would be good if the device is equipped with an automatic steam release function: this stabilizes the pressure inside it, which means it makes it safer to use.

Those who like to cook dishes, for example, from beans and peas, should pay attention to multicookers with a soaking function. A function such as baking with a crispy crust is also designed for the amateur. For those who are used to juggling many things at once and cannot be in the kitchen all the time, the auto-shut-off and sound signal functions will be useful when cooking is complete. Some may need a countdown function until meals. In general, when choosing device functions, you should not be guided by the rule “the more, the better.” After all, you will most likely use such features as making yogurt, jellied meat, grilling or smoking very rarely, and you will definitely pay money to the manufacturer for additional “tricks”.

As for the operating modes, as a rule, there are 6–7 of them in a standard multicooker, but in some models there can be up to 10. The following modes are most often used:

  • “buckwheat” - side dishes from all types of cereals and legumes are prepared on it;
  • “stewing” - useful for preparing multi-component dishes from meat, vegetables, etc.;
  • “baking” – in this mode you can cook pies, muffins, pizza, bake meat in pieces or chopped;
  • “milk porridge” – allows you to prepare viscous porridge;
  • “pilaf” - you can cook various dishes from rice, potatoes, pasta in it;
  • “cooking in own juice and steaming”;
  • “cooking broths and soups”;
  • “warm up” – makes it possible to automatically heat up food and maintain the desired temperature for a long time.

What can you cook in a slow cooker?

The multicooker will perfectly prepare non-viscous porridge from any cereal: buckwheat, rice, pearl barley, millet, etc. Thick soups, dumplings, spaghetti, fragrant pilaf, vegetable dishes, meat and fish in their own juice are also excellent. The pressure cooker can easily bake a holiday pie with filling, cupcake, pudding or casserole. People who need special dietary nutrition, as well as all those who prefer healthy food, simply cannot do without this device, because the multicooker ensures almost one hundred percent preservation of all micronutrients during the heat treatment of products.

Programs and modes

A distinctive feature of the multicooker is that the cooking process is automated. Cooking programs can be automatic or manual. Automatic programs already contain: cooking time, required temperature. You just need to choose a dish and ingredients to prepare it. In manual programs you can adjust the temperature mode and cooking time. If you do everything consistently, you will get a very tasty, and most importantly, healthy dish.

Let's look at what dishes can be prepared using different multicooker programs.
All multicookers have basic programs: stewing, porridge, soup, steaming.

EXTINGUISHING PROGRAM designed for approximately 2 hours. When stewing, food is cooked “on low heat” without oil. You can cook very tasty meat, borscht, cabbage soup, fish, vegetables, jellied meat.
PORridge PROGRAM often combined with SOUP PROGRAM and the approximate cooking time is about 1.5 hours. Sometimes there is a separate program for preparing milk porridges. If there is no such program, you can cook the porridge; you just need to grease the bowl with butter and cook a small amount. And how convenient: you can load the necessary products in the evening and set the timer, and by the morning at the specified time the aromatic porridge will be ready. You can also cook beans and peas.
SOUP IN PROGRAM you need to put the ingredients for the soup, pour broth or water, close and select the “Soup” program.
Sometimes to prepare soups you need to sauté onions and carrots; this can be done in a slow cooker. To do this, you just need to cook with the lid open at a higher temperature. For example, in the programs: “frying”, “baking”, “quick cooking”. Next, cook in the “Soup” program, adding the necessary ingredients.
COUPLE PROGRAM lasts about an hour or two.
All appliances come with a plastic steamer container. You can cook small steamed dishes in it. Suitable for preparing dietary dishes, boiling eggs, dumplings. You can use this program to heat up dishes and boil liquids.
Multicookers also have additional programs. The main ones: Baking, Frying, deep-frying, pilaf, pasta, simmering, yogurt, dough.

The table contains all the currently existing multicooker programs, indicates what dishes they are intended for, whether it is possible to replace one program with another, and provides examples of multicookers with these programs. You can also see which multicookers have the programs you are interested in on the page all about multicookers.

Multicooker programs are divided into several blocks

  • basic programs, without which modern multicookers are unimaginable. Therefore, examples of multicookers are not given for such programs.
  • Special multichef and multicook programs(
  • Programs that expand the standard capabilities of the multicooker, turning it into an even more multifunctional device
  • Additional programs, which appeared in multicookers later than the basic ones, are a type of basic programs. They increase the convenience of using the multicooker and the quality of cooking. For example, the soup program is better configured for preparing soups and broths than the stewing program previously used for these purposes.
  • And finally there are programs tailored to specific dishes. You should pay attention to them when choosing a multicooker if you want to cook this particular dish often

The temperatures in the table are based on the data provided by Polaris on its website, since other manufacturers in the vast majority of cases do not indicate temperatures for the main programs.
