Diesel engine 2.7 TD is a row V-shaped six, a six-cylinder engine, respectively, in a diesel version with one turbine. That is, one turbine with a variable geometry is installed on this engine.

What features this engine has. The engine is not the most reliable, but unfortunately in 90% of cases in the discovery 3d space you will observe it. It is this pump that creates the highest pressure that is necessary for the normal operation of the diesel engine. In case the high-pressure fuel pump fails and since our system has a fuel drain line, i.e. Excess fuel falls back to the tank, then it usually falls into the tank already with wear products, namely with a metal chip. In this case, you will have to remove the fuel tank, rinse the fuel equipment, change the submersible pump, which is installed in the tank, because rinse directly the submersible pump itself from chips, you simply cannot. One of the problems of this engine is the front seal of the crankshaft.
